Fish market tour with Nobby -
We had an amazing experience on the Tokyo Fish Market Tour with Nobby as our guide! From the very beginning, Nobby was warm, knowledgeable, and full of energy. Unforgettable Tokyo fish market tour with Yumi - We had a truly wonderful experience with Yumi as our guide! She is incredibly knowledgeable and really knows how to paint the full picture throughout the tour. At the start, she gave us a few different options on how we could begin, and we chose to arrive early so we could get a great window spot for the viewing.
Yumi was prepared and happy to answer any questions we had. After the Tuna Auction at the Toyosu fish market, we went to a shop close by where they served amazing sushi made with high quality tuna and other fresh fish because we wanted to try it for ourself, it was absolutely delicious.
From there, we headed together to the old Tsukiji fish market. Unlike the modern and quiet Toyosu, Tsukiji was full of life and energy, offering a completely different atmosphere that was just as fascinating.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour and especially Yumi as a guide. She made the experience smooth, engaging, and truly memorable.

We did the machi tour... - We did the MACHI TOUR JAPAN's Toyosu & Tsukiji fish market tour with Nobby which was fantastic! He gave such clear and engaging explanations that really brought the market and Japanese culture to life. His food recommendation at the end was delicious and we would never have found it by ourselves. He also guided us to great meals later in our trip. Highly recommended! Alex and Val

Wonderful tour, highly recommend! - Sachiyo was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, well-prepared, personnable and open. She knew all the right spots to get the best view of the auction and made sure we understood everything that was going on. The tour of the two market areas afterwards was awesome too, as she tailored the experience to our liking and we get recommendations on the best spots to eat. We also didn't feel pressured to buy anything, and we didn't. Would recommend without hesitation!

Unforgettable Tour of the Tuna Auction and Fish Markets with Nobby - We had a wonderful tour with our guide, Nobby. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and took the time to answer all of our questions. We visited the tuna auction, the wholesale fish market, and the outer fish market, and thanks to Nobby, we gained a much deeper understanding of Japanese culture and customs.

An interesting insight into some of the tuna industry in Japan. - An early morning start. I was out the front of my hotel at 5 am. My guide, Mayumi Hatano ( Get Your Guide), was waiting with a taxi ( my expense), I chose to do a private guided tour, which was well worth it. A lot of walking involved so make sure you are up to that part of it. It was a fascinating experience watching the tuna auction. The auctioneers were entertaining themselves. The auction moves at a fast pace. Then we walked to the outer market to look at a of the vendors produce. There was fresh produce, pickled produce , cooked ( ready to eat). After that we took a bus to the old fish market of Tsujiki. We went to different stalls of which there were many. I bought a few things to eat and share with my guide. The freshest tuna nigiri, which just melted in your mouth, some cooked tuna and japanese omelette on a stick( fresh made in front of us), all delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Highly Recommend - Our tour with Shinobu was excellent. He was very informative and showed us things we would never have found on our own. We appreciated his patience and assistance with our purchases in the market. His recommendation for breakfast was incredible, the best sushi I have ever experienced. We highly recommend this tour with Shinobu. Thank you Nobi.

We had an amazing time on... - We had an amazing time on this tour. Sachiyo is a great guide- prepared, knowledgeable, and fun. We had some last minute needs arise and she helped us manage them without issue. I highly recommend this tour.
