Highly recommended - Beautiful walk, easy, suitable for everyone. The trail was well-trodden, so snowshoes were not needed. Highly recommended experience

Wonderful experience in Korouoma national Park - We had a great time in Korouoma national Park. We could bathe ourselves in the forest: saw great views, sniffed the smell of plants and drank some river water. We could also see a lot of reindeers. Our travel guide "Alex?" was very kind and nice. He taught me a lot of things about Plants and animals in Rovaniemi, best sightseeing places in Helsinki, and so on. He also cooked us BBQ lunch during the hike. Be careful for mosquitos, there were so many of them.

Amazing day, great guide! - Great day at the Korouoma National Park. We were picked up at our hotel by Alex, who has a really nice chap and a fantastic guide. The Park is awesome in the winter, but the trail is not for the heart fainted, with plenty of slopes and slippery surfaces, but with the help Alex, who was great, everything was easy. Nice stop for lunch, with grilled sausages and other treats. We were a small group, so we had the chance to enjoy some really great sights of frozen waterfalls in this awesome place.

Amazing adventures hike with beautiful views - Definitely one of the best activities during my trip to Finland. It is a challenging hike with highs and lows, and occasionally sliding down, fun guaranteed! There are 3 frozen waterfalls on the trail, which are extremely visible and which you can get close to if you have a good condition. Our guide Alex told various fun facts about nature and the waterfalls during the walk and is open to also taking pictures of his guests. At the last waterfall, you get some free time, while he walks a little further to light the fire and fry the sausages, very cozy! Highly recommended to see the natural beauty of Finland.

Hike in the Snow - The hike was great fun - the scenery along the 5km hike was amazing. There were some parts that were a bit slippery but the 'problem' could be avoided by sitting & sliding down the path, which added to the fun. Alex was very nice, help and knowledgable. Appreciated the little BBQ we had by the campfire, with sausages, marshmallows and some glögi to recharge our energy before the last stretch of uphill hike back to the carpark. I would definitely recommend this tour with Alex!

Great day with great guide - The scenery that we came across during the hike was no doubt beautiful. The trail was manageable, though slippery at certain icy paths. Alex was attentive and helpful in cautioning and assisting us throughout. He took great care of our group, and also kept with high standards of hygiene when preparing and barbecuing the food for us during the camp fire. Prior to the hike, we had checked out from our apartment with our luggage, and were grateful when Alex allowed us leave them in his vehicle for the hike. What came beyond that was when he was flexible to drop us at the central train station after the hike to deposit the luggage, and gave us a ride back to the city centre for some final shopping before we left Rovaniemi later in the evening by train. Thank you so much!

Fun day at Korouma - We enjoyed drive to Korouma. It was all amazingly white on arrival. Walked through snow covered trees till we reached the frozen waterfalls. Had a great time walking in the white scenery of the forest. Simply winter wonderland . Even had some drinks and sausages. Thanks to Alex our guide .

Truly a must to do with Alex as your guide! - I honestly think the tour guide makes or breaks any tour. In this case this tour was made even perfect by our guide. He was on time, always informing us of what is happening and made the tour fun and informative. He gave us options and made sure we are okay all the time. The tour itself is amazing! Don’t sell yourself short. Go for the longer walk. Yes its harder specially in the snow but it’s honestly worth it. I personally would not suggest you try to do this tour on your own. First its a 90 minute drive each way on icy roads. Unless you know the park well you can get into trouble going the wrong way and walking on the deep holes. It’s definitely a highlight of our trip to Rovaniemi!
