Jaw dropping scenery - The scenery on the boat ride was spectacular and shala river is a piece of paradise. The short hike to the lookout is recommended. Our guide Kladji was friendly and welcoming. A lovely day trip.

Best tour guide Klajdi! - We went on this trip august 2023. Very beautiful boat ride and riverside. Just as in the pictures. Though the best part of this trip was our guide, Klajdi. He paid so much attention to everyone and made sure everyone were okay. He even had aspirin available if you needed it. We forgot to bring cash and none of the restaurants by the river took card. Klajdi was so kind to borrow us cash. He’s truly a kind and warm person. We recommend it!! Best regards Omar and Anna

Great experience with the nicest guide - It was a great trip and our guide was so friendly and answered all our questions and helped us with the water. We enjoyed the day and can highly recommened the trip to the shala river!

A fantastic day out! - We had a great day out on this tour! From pick up to drop off, we felt very well looked after and really enjoyed ourselves. The boat trip was comfortable and the scenes were fun absolutely stunning! When we arrived at the Shala River we had a few hours of free time to do as we pleased (swimming, kayaking, zipling, jet ski’s, hiking, eating and drinking). It was a good balance of “group tour” and “do it yourself”. Special shout out to our tour guide, Klajdi, who gave us lots of insight into the history of the area. Klajdi is extremely proud of his country and it was so lovely to hear him speak so passionately. He also helped answer many questions that we had about our trip to Albania and gave us lots of recommendations ☺️ I would definitely recommend this tour! Just beware that it is a very long day and there is at least 6-7 hours car travel time.

An Unforgettable Experience - This was one of our favourite parts of the trip. The entire journey was very smooth and timely with incredibly scenic routes. Our guide in particular was incredibly friendly and funny as he told us about the history of the region as we traveled through it to the river. The entire route was absolutely stunning as we rode through the ravines. The boat ride itself was a further delight, where we spent a good time being able to take in the amazing natural rock formations and structures. As rode further upstream the waters turned from a deep blue into transparent clear waters where you could see the shadows of the boat on the bottom of the river. Hidden in a little pocket between the mountains there are a host of activities to do including grabbing lunch from the many riverside cafes, or going kayaking, jetskiing, zip lining and hiking. Overall, I would encourage anyone who travels to Albania to take this tour as it truly is an unforgettable experience.
