⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Private Tour of Kolkata with Tour De Kolkata - I had an amazing experience with Tour De Kolkata, and I can’t recommend them enough. Muzaffar Khan, who is both the owner and my guide, gave me a full private tour of Kolkata that exceeded all expectations. I flew in from Delhi, and Muzaffar was waiting for me right at the exit—welcoming me warmly and immediately offering a hot tea, which was such a thoughtful touch. From the start, both Muzaffar and the driver were respectful, friendly, and professional. Muzaffar’s knowledge, passion, and patience truly set him apart. He explained everything in detail, always making sure I understood the history and meaning behind what we were seeing. He carefully planned the itinerary so we were able to visit many places and really explore this incredible old city while learning so much along the way. What made the tour especially unique was Muzaffar’s artistic vision—he gave me a perspective of Kolkata that I don’t think any other guide could match. It was not just a tour, but a meaningful experience. To top it off, when he dropped me back at the airport, Muzaffar had even prepared a small gift for me, which was such a kind gesture and made the experience even more memorable. If you’re considering a tour in Kolkata, I highly recommend Tour De Kolkata. Trust me—you’ll thank me later! Bo (NY) — January 2026

Wonderful tour, perfect guide. - Muzzafar is an excellent tour guide. We talked about many philosophical, cultural and religious aspects. It was very enriching. Muzzafar adapted the tour to my preferences and we visited three temples. We had plenty of time for the other essential sights. In the end, the evening ended with sunset at Prinzep Ghat.

Good guide, much seen, recommendswer - I had a great tour with Muzzafar and the driver. As agreed, I was picked up at my hotel on time. There we first discussed what we're going to look at. Muzzafar is very knowledgeable and experienced. The driver drove the vehicle very safely, it was very comfortable. We saw the main sights, the highlight was of course the flower market. The tour also had a lot to offer culinaryly. So we stayed at the India Coffee House and at the end still in a nice bakery. It was a really great day. I can only recommend this tour to anyone, even if you travel alone.

A Diwali Redemption in Kolkata – Thanks to Muzaffar Khan - Having visited Kolkata since 2007 for work, I’d never truly explored its soul. My spouse, visiting for the first time, was excited—but our initial experiences (a tram museum and a 13-stop food tasting tour) booked through Viator were a major letdown. Disappointed and disheartened, we reached out to Viator, and they connected us with Muzaffar Khan—a local expert who turned our Diwali holiday around. From the Missionaries of Charity to the Mallick Ghat Flower Market, Muzaffar curated a day steeped in history, color, and emotion. We marveled at the Howrah Bridge, tasted sweets at Nalin Chandra Das & Sons, and explored St. John’s Church, rich with colonial echoes. College Street (Boi Para) and the Indian Coffee House brought intellectual nostalgia, while the Victoria Memorial, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and James Prinsep Monument showcased Kolkata’s architectural grandeur. A serene boat ride on the Hooghly River capped off the day. Muzaffar was professional, articulate, and deeply knowledgeable. The vehicle was spotless, the driver courteous, and the pacing perfect. My spouse, initially skeptical, was thoroughly impressed. If you’re looking to rediscover Kolkata or see it for the first time—ask for Muzaffar Khan. He doesn’t just guide you through the city; he brings it to life.

My One-day Trip in Kolkata. - I had a One-day trip of Kolkata on 14th October 2025 with my wife. This trip was very well organized. I should really appreciate Mr Muzaffer Khan who was guiding us on that day. He picked us at the Hotel exactly at 8am sharp. Places visited: 1. Mother Teresa's Home. ( Missionaries of Charity ) 2. St John's Church 3.Howrah Bridge 4. Flower Market 5. Potters Street 6. Jain Temple 7. College Street 8. Indian Coffee House 9. Victoria Memorial 10. St Paul's Cathedral 11. Second Hooghly Bridge. Mr Muzaffer Khan explained each and every site in detail with clear conversation. The way he explained the historical events in a chronological order was simply amazing. He has a very good command over English. We were impressed the way Mr Muzaffer Khan explained the minute details in St John's Church and Victoria Memorial. Once again I should extend my thanks to the organiser of the event and especially Mr Muzaffer Khan for making this trip a memorable one in my life time. Definitely I will recommend to any of those who are proposing for the trip to Kolkata to utilize this service. S. Sundaramurthy.

Very Well Rounded Custom Kolkata Tour - We had an amazing custom tour that completed a terrific itinerary of places from 9 am to 5 pm right after the main Durga Puja festivities. Luckily traffic and tours were relatively light. Bratati Saha was our Ministry of Tourism registered guide that this company contracted with. She is well known by the community and peers so that helped a lot at all the busier sights, access, parking, a sense of VIP like experience, etc. She was amazing, very knowledgeable, understanding, and helpful. We got our shopping done, nice breaks, snacks, coffee, plenty of history, and all the stops plus more all covered ahead of schedule. Kolkata 1 day custom tour. This tour plus shopping, breaks, etc. we got done between 9 AM and 5 PM due to awesome weather and less traffic plus wonderful Ministry of Tourism guide! We added some shopping for my mother and also a famous Jain Temple on Bratati’s advice plus the nicer church listed below. 900–10:00 Drive to Dakshineswar Kali Temple Start sharp at 9:00; aim to arrive before the late-morning crowd. 10:00–10:45 ️ Visit Dakshineswar 10:45–11:15 Drive to Kumartuli 11:15–11:45 Explore Kumartuli Workshops open & active. 11:45–12:15 To Malik Ghat Flower Market 12:15–12:45 Walk market + Howrah Bridge Short but lively visit. 12:45–1:15 To College Street 1:15–2:00 College Street + ☕ Indian Coffee House lunch Busy but iconic experience. 2:00–2:30 To St. Paul’s Cathedral 2:30–3:00 ⛪ St. Paul’s Cathedral 3:00–4:00 Victoria Memorial Hall Allocate more time here. 4:00–4:30 To Mother Teresa House 4:30–5:00 Mother Teresa House 6:00–6:30 Back to Hyatt Regency
