Beautiful location & self sufficiency. - Fantastically hosted by Michalis. He created these gardens over the last 10 years from a barren hillside and what a wonder they are. He immediately treated his visitors as guests and friends, he was warm, welcoming and funny. This is like a Cypriot version of 'The Good life'....I was there over 3 hours and the time flew by....well worth the time and drive over the challenging track to get there....I would visit again.

Amazing thing to add to your holiday inventory - Family of three.. We had a hire car and considering where it is, I'm not sure how you would do this without a car. We drove to this botanical garden, which concludes with winding gravel roads up the mountains.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed in and enjoyed a splash of essential oil and homemade lemonade. The tour around was really interesting and even held the attention of our 6 year old daughter.
I won't detail everything, because it's best to experience it. I certainly recommend adding this to your holiday inventory.

Adonis Botanic Garden - visited with a friend on 9th April 2025. - An absolutely hidden gem. If you love nature, flowers, aromatherapy, herbal remedies or all things wild and spiritual, you're sure to have a great time. Dr Michaelis is so knowledgable and passionate about his subject and his beautiful place and the €10 fee for the tour and tasting was amazing value. We somehow managed to lose four entire hours there and we didn't even stay for a meal or swim in the pool! Will definitely be back to order more of the wonderful products he makes and for a night or two chilling out in the glamping pods. I'm on my 31st visit to Cyprus and thought I'd run out of new places to discover but this is definitely one of the most fabulous days out I've had! Highly recommended.

Must See! - Absolutely fabulous. Michael is very knowledgeable and passionate and the hospitality was incredible. My young boys loved exploring the plants and trying the fruits. Highly recommend.

Unique experience - Very impressed with the host as he was very welcoming from the very beginning till the end of the tour. Extremely unique experience, we were with our almost 3y/o and he wasn’t bored and loved it

Day out at the Adonis botanical gardens - Michael Jackson was a very welcoming and charming host. He showed us in intoxicating workshop area filled to the brim with his wonderful organic essential oils. Later he wowed us all with a refreshing rose water drink followed by citrusy homemade lemonade. Definitely recommend a visit.

Stunning! - A must-visit in Cyprus. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and situated in the midst of unspoilt Cypriot countryside.
Dr Michaelis is a superb host and incredibly knowledgeable. We were given a tour of the beautiful botanical garden and had the opportunity to taste delicious homemade lemonade, rose, and carob (with a few shots of Zivania to ward off the wind). The tour also includes sampling of seasonal fruits and sampling of Dr Michaelis’ diverse range of oils and fragrances.

Amazing and unique experience - Amazing and unique experience. Highly reccomend :) Michelis is so kind, make you feel welcomed. We have taste a lots of herbs, homemade lemonade, rose drins and Zivania. Dont miss the place if you are on Cyprus. You can rent a glamping apartman with wi fi, pool... Thank you, dear Michelis for everything. As you said, we are friends <3

Beautiful scenery and a nice experience - An interesting experience and a beautiful scenery!
Although offroad, the garden is easily accessible. The host is super friendly and open, we felt welcome. Entrance free is 10€, which is money well spent - we tried tasty homemade drinks (free) and got the tour of the garden. We tried the oils, which were really nice.
However, the tour was a bit long (3hrs), because the host had some business in between and other guests were joining frequently, so there was some waiting and repeating.
Bought some oils at the end.
Overall, a really nice experience - would recommend it to my friends.
