Fun Relaxing scuba diving - We had a lot of fun with the boat staff and the divers. You really don’t need to worry about anything; everything is talen care of. I recommend this Diveshop to anyone who wants to do some relaxed scuba diving.

Best PADI instructors anyone could wish for - I did my PADI open water with Phoenix and they were amazing! JJ tought us on the first day in the pool and Kot on the 2nd and 3rd day in the sea. They are both great teacher - and Kot made me feel incredibly safe and looked after out there on the open sea, I was nervous at start but he calmed my nerves with his professionalism, knowledge and humour. All the equipment was impeccabble, great boat with a small group and max 4 ppl per instructor, and they took us to all the best dive spots. Plus we had the option of doing an extra dive at a great price which I’m so glad we did as we saw 2 huge guitar sharks and 4 smaller ones swimming right next to us and at one point right below me only ab 2 meters away - an experience I’ll never forget!

Friendly and Professional - Just finished 3 days diving with Phoenix Divers. From the start communication and organisation was very professional and easy and I was picked up on time every morning from my hotel. All of the dive masters and instructors were brilliant - super friendly and felt like friends by the end of the week. I dived with Olga on all 3 days. She was really lovely - a great guide and a nice relaxed style under water (not too fast, not too slow and clearly knew the sites very well). The sites were pristine with really nice coral and loads of fish. Also they give you pastries and coffee for breakfast on the boat, fruit between dives, a great lunch and loads of water and soft drinks. My only sadness was that I couldn’t do a few more days diving! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would love to dive with them again.

Very nice scuba diving experience. - We did the AOWD with Phoenix. We had a different teacher on the 2 days. First Joel, then Mark (or Michael? I learnt too many names that day) Both were very nice and competent. We loved it. While we were diving our 8yo son could do snorkeling. Valeria and her colleague (sorry, forgot the name as well, she was from UK) took care of our son while we were diving, showed him many fish and, most importantly, took care he was safe. This allowed me and my wife to fully focus on our diving experience, that was brilliant. My wife had some infection in the ear after the first day. There is Dr. Pad right next door who quickly evaluated if she was fit to dive or not. Phoenix staff was assisting and guiding here as well. Staff on the boat was just as nice and helpful. Tldr, simply an overall great experience.

Great diving, even better customer service! - I booked 4 days of diving with Phoenix divers (early January) after looking at the reviews and the prices (which are rather standardized on the island). The process was quick and efficient over Whatsapp. All communication after this point was done by Whatsapp (which I appreciate). I told them what I wanted, what I needed and clarified some of the questions I had that weren’t answered on the website. I was asked to pay a deposit, and this process went very smoothly too. Arriving at Koh Lanta, I was asked to come a day earlier to get the sizes for my equipment, sign some waivers and for payment. This went very smoothly, and all of my questions were answered patiently. When I originally booked, I mentioned that I would like 3 dives every day and it was acknowledged, and it seemed like it would be possible every day. However, my first dive day was limited to the standard two, as the company was fully booked. This did not bother me too much as I knew I had three more days of diving ahead of me, but perhaps this might bother somebody else. I think it wouldn’t harm to have some sort of disclaimer during the booking process that 3 dives cannot be guaranteed (or perhaps I’ve missed it entirely on the website). My total of 11 dives were all accompanied by the same divemaster – Mark. I do not know if this was on purpose, but I very much appreciated it (although the other divemasters seemed very friendly too!). The groups varied in size, but when there were more than 4 customers, there was always an assistant divemaster on hand. Mark was fantastic as a divemaster, there was a small safety/protocol briefing every day, and pretty much every dive. Additionally, Mark a camera with him and even took some pictures of us! I think I have read many reviews about dive shops on this island that complain about the discrepancies of air levels at the end of dives. I experienced first-hand that the usual goal is a total dive time of roughly 45-50 minutes. So, it is entirely possible that a more experienced diver would surface with still more than half the tank left. It seems the policy is very similar to Blue Planet’s policy, and thus I assume this is standard policy across the island. I also feel this is something that may cause confusion upon booking, and maybe should also be mentioned there (or on the website). I did not have a dive computer, so I can’t say how much longer we could have stayed without a decompression stop, but I do not feel like my time was cut short underwater. Mark, however, especially made it clear that he would do everything possible to reach this goal, i.e., reduce depth. Additionally on every dive, the level of divers was relatively well matched and the only time we did not hit the goal, there was an understandable reason (jellyfish ugh!). Overall, I am very satisfied with the customer service, the team is competent and friendly, and most importantly- the diving was fun. I do not have much experience with the other shops on Koh Lanta, however, from my experience I would recommend Phoenix divers!

Wonderful Company. Highly recommend - We were very pleased with our experience at Phoenix. The shop was very organized and quick to respond to my WhatsApp questions. We loved diving with Olga, our dive master for the day. She was attentive, very knowledgeable, and a blast to be with. We would 100% book with them again!!

unforgettable dive with pheonix divers - Without a doubt one of my best diving experiences ever. I have been diving on other islands in Thailand before but have never experienced such a friendly crew and such comprehensive service. My diving buddy and I went diving with Vincent as a guide and had basically 1-to-1 support. Vincent exuded maximum confidence from minute 1 and made the 3 dives an unforgettable experience with his funny, friendly and relaxed manner. Many thanks to Vincent and the crew at Pheonix Divers.

Went out on the boat in the morning and did a total of three dives! Was super fun! Vincent you the best - A great diving trip! With the Giude Vincent you felt super comfortable and safe right from the start! Definitely recommended!!
