During the journey to the dive sites, there will be an explanation of diving safety and a briefing on the planned activities.
On this day, participants will enjoy 2 dives reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters. The experience begins in very shallow water with some skills to enhance comfort. The instructor will swim very close or hold the participant’s hand, moving slowly to ensure safety, even for those who are not strong swimmers.
There are 2 dive locations available:
Local dive sites near Koh Chang, which have no admission fee, and
Koh Rang National Park dive sites, which require a 400 BHT entry fee for divers.

Discover scuba diving is an experience program for non-divers who would like to try diving. You can enjoy the trip as a one day dive experience or you can use it as the first day of your Padi open water course. It is a great day out on the boat, you will get the explanation before going in the water, then once in the sea you ll practise a few safety skills, and make your first dive. After lunch we are going back and make a second dsd dive to max 12 meters.
- Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

BB Divers PADI dive center
For hotel pick up please provide your hotel name in the booking notes. We will pick up and bring you to our main shop on Bang bao pier before we leave on the boat. The pick up times are between 7:45 to 8.50 am depending location of the hotel.

Great first dive! - We booked a package with 3 stops (1 dive and 2 stops snorkeling mask/tuba). We were picked up from the hotel in the morning, which was very convenient, but you can also visit the BB Divers agency yourself.
A BIG thank you to Tam and Oscar, for their kindness, humor, professionalism! The whole team is on top, we feel a good understanding between them, and they are very positive and humorous, which makes the day pleasant. Tam, our instructor, put us in good confidence during the explanations as well as during the dive (he is very careful that everything goes well at all times of the dive, while remaining funny even underwater, but without excess:) ).
The Thai lunch buffet was very good, I admit I didn’t expect it to be so good! And fresh fruit cut live in the afternoon is good too!
We dived during the rainy season, which is not ideal for visibility underwater, but we had a great day! We dived at the first stop, then a second stop snorkeling and a third stop where we were offered to dive again (extra) if we wanted (2000 baht per person to add to the 3000 baht per person). We did not regret! The 3rd stop was the most interesting, with schools of fish, more depth and more reliefs in the corals.
It was a great experience from scratch and we would gladly do it again!

Unvergesslich - beeindruckend - atemberaubend - We booked this trip as a family with three children under 12 and wanted to go diving together as a family. It was an incredibly beautiful, eventful, breathtaking, and unforgettable trip. Our diving instructors, Steve and Joe from BB Divers, were wonderful. Before the dives, they took the five of us to a shallow beach in their dinghy to give us briefings, clarify everything important, and were completely relaxed when it came to each individual. On the second dive, we went into the depths, and Steve and Joe showed us a breathtaking underwater world. It was amazing. A dream. We saw so much, and wonderful corals. We would definitely recommend Steve and Joe again. The pick-up and drop-off went really well, and the guys were extremely punctual.

Top “refresher” - Years ago passed our PADI and did various as refresher discover scubadive. Our 18-year-old son, too, for him the first time. Everything was well arranged. Picked up and returned to our hotel, calm and clear explanation on the boat, good stuff and with it a safe and good feeling. Our instructors are Steve and Tam, both very nice. Also explanation from Steve about all the fish we have seen. Lunch and drinks on the way, great! All in all a very good and nice experience.

I would recommend, the crew is really engaging and making sure everyone has a day up to their hope - Thank you Chang and the team for this initiation to diving !
I had an amazing time the crew is great and very caring. The organization makes it easy to just sit back and enjoy follow the instructions and the coffee and lunch breaks were also very nice

Great company for diving at Koh Chang - My best friend introduced and encouraged me to do the discover with BB divers team at Koh Chang. I am not very good with water and not a strong swimmer and always bring back a bad memory about jumping into the ocean in the past.
You can imagine it was a big thing for me to do the discover but BB divers team. Chang is a diving instructor who looked after me on that day. He was very patient and tried his best to teach me all the techniques in the short space of time which I'm so glad I did. Thank you!
The experience when you went down to see all the fishes and corals was breathtaking. I even considered doing an open water course if I have a chance in the future .
The whole team of BB divers were amazing and friendly. I would recommend BB divers at Koh chang if you want to try to do something new like I did! Thank you for the great experience 😊

Discovery dive with Marco - I did the discovery dive with Marco and it was a lovely experience.
Since it was my first ever dive, Marco was there at every step to guide and to make sure that safe took precedence.
All in all, a trip worth taking.

Exceptional diving experience in Koh Chang - It was my first diving experience and I left with some apprehension. Fortunately, Charles, our instructor, was absolutely great: very pedagogical, reassuring and listening to me. Thanks to him, I was able to fully enjoy this unique experience.
The scenery and marine fauna were absolutely beautiful: colorful fish never ending and corals just as beautiful.
Thank you Charles and the whole team for this superb discovery that makes you want to pass the certification. This is an experience I recommend with my eyes closed!

Grateful for organizing first dive for our son - We loved the whole experience. The staff was highly professional while at the same time easy going. Three members of the family utterly enjoyed the snorkelling "dives" in Koh Rang national park. The best of all was the introduction dive our 10 year old son did with the instructor Seb. Highly professional, gave scared parents the needed sense of security and most importantly our son loved the experience. Thorougly recommend BB Divers to anyone looking for a great day trip.

Family Adventures - What a day we have had with BB Divers.. million thanks to Micheal & Oscar. As well as Kristel to arrange the tour months in advance, and all the lovely boat crews for their highly minded services.
Our 11 years daughter, Abbey was doing DSD ( Discover Scuba Dive) for the 1st time. Micheale was a role model to Abbey. Not only diving skills but the heart to take care of the ocean, animals and creatures within. She came home with a pockets filled up with pride, happiness and confident. She is planning to continue her diving adventures on Open Water certification as soon as we are back to Koh Change with Micheal 💜!
Oscar, our dive master is a very kind and thorough young man. I and my husband are certified open water but have not been diving for about 16 months. He made 100% sure to prioritize our safety and beyond with the fun experiences underwater with the family. His kindness to catalogue our pictures and videos are highly appreciated.. bravo 🙌!

proper jolly day - the boat was spacious and wasnt jam packed like all the other boats i saw. my diving instructor, seb, was absolutely amazing.
