• Cochin Gujarathi Mahajan - Established in 1883 by the Gujarati community in Kochi, the Gowshala in Mattancherry reflects the traditional domestication of cows by Hindu Gujaratis. Today, 650 Gujarati families reside in Mattancherry.
• Mattancherry Palace - Also known as the Dutch Palace, it served as the seat of Kochi royalty.
• Cochin Spice Market - Located in Jew Town, this market is ideal for shopping for spices, dry fruits, handicrafts, and antiques.
• Jew Town - Situated 4 km from Fort Kochi, this area was the original settlement of Paradeshi Jews.
• Paradesi Synagogue - Also known as the Cochin Jewish Synagogue or Mattancherry Synagogue, it was built in 1568 A.D. by Samuel Castiel, David Belila, and Joseph Levi for the Paradesi Jewish community. The Cochin Jews included both the older Malabari Jews and the newer Sephardic refugees fleeing Portuguese persecution in Spain and Portugal.

Explore attractions in Fort Kochi and Jew Town, including the Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church (home to Vasco de Gama’s first tomb), and the Dutch Palace. Take time for tea or coffee, or shop for gifts in Jew Town.

After the tour, all travelers are returned to their original pick-up locations.
