- Okage Tofuan - “With a history spanning over 60 years, we produce fresh tofu every morning and deliver it with care to our customers. Our shop is nestled among historic sake breweries—like sake, exceptional tofu starts with pure water. Made using traditional methods, our tofu is delicate, clean, and flavorful. We invite you to visit and experience the difference. If you time it right, you can enjoy our freshly made ganmodoki (tofu and vegetable fritters) straight from the kitchen. Please note: The tofu shop is closed on Sundays and public holidays, so we will not stop there and tofu tastings will not be available.”
- Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum - HAKUTSURU SAKE Brewing Co., Ltd. is Japan’s largest brewery! They have opened their historic sake brewhouse in its original form to the public as the Sake Brewery Museum. Their aim is to provide visitors with an understanding of the sake-making tradition that has been passed down through generations and to share the “heart of Japan” with the sake-making world. There is a tasting corner and a shop where visitors can purchase alcohol and souvenirs, offering a chance to have a first taste.
- Kiku-Masamune Shuzo Kinenkan - Renowned for preserving the traditional ‘Kimoto-method’ yeast sake-making style, this brewery showcases numerous wooden sake-making tools in its museum, providing an educational experience about sake production. ※Sake breweries may be subject to change due to regular closing days or weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding. Enjoy the exquisite craftsmanship of sake in front of the charming Japanese garden and take a deep breath here!
