Great sake and wonderful guides - A wonderful guided experience . We (party of two) received excellent instructions for our meetup. We arrived a bit early and so did our guides. So, we left early. Aki and Hiroko were knowledgeable about the history of sake and the Nada district, and also very friendly. In addition to talking about sake and sampling many varieties, we discussed aspects of Japanese culture and life much as good friends would. We were not pressured to buy any of the sake that we sampled. However, as we drank our way through Nada, we came to recognize our own preferences in taste—and we did buy some of our favorites to take home to friends for our very own sake tasting party. Because we were all having a great experience, both we and our guides agreed to extend the time allotted for the tour. Finally, Aki and Hiroko got us to our train station (“designated driver”) and we made our way back to our Osaka hotel where we were staying—an easy 30 minutes away.

Excellent Tour - My wife and I did the Kobe sake tour with Seigo. He is a sake sommelier and an excellent guide. He took us to 5 different breweries and did a great job of teaching us about sake. If you have any interest in sake I would consider this a “must do” activity if you are in Kobe or Osaka.

Fun way to learn about sake and taste a lot of different types - Ali was a great guide. She took us to four sake breweries, explained the sake making process and how sake is classified based on the processing. We also stopped for a little fried tofu snack along the way. The afternoon was unhurried and enjoyable.

Wonderful and thorough sake tour! - Wonderful experience with a good mix of small and bigger breweries. Our guide Aki was patient and sincere and speaks good English.she also took good care of my 71 year old father who had to walk more slowly.

Drink, walk and be merry! - Value for money. We had a great time with this tour. Our tour guides (Aki, Aya and Yumi) were very pleasant and knowledgeable of the breweries and its history. We enjoyed the different kinds of sake and appreciated the stories. Great exercise too!

One of the best sake tours in Kobe/Kansai! - I've lived in Japan for over 4 years and this was better than any of the other sake tours I've done previously. This one felt the warmest and friendliest by far, with ample tastings and a variety of breweries to choose - from small to large. The main guide (bilingual Japanese/English) was also extremely well-versed and explained everything to us in a manner everyone could understand easily. I would happily do this again whenever friends/family come to visit! Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience that helped me appreciate sake (nihonshu) even more. Highly recommended!

Just the right about of Sake - Chisato was an excellent guide and helped translate my many questions for the sake masters. We went to additional breweries, and she was very knowledgeable about the brewing process. She was also very flexible, and catered the tour towards my interests.

Made the Best of a Cancellation - We were very much looking forward to this tour on our only day in Kobe, so we were quite disappointed when we received a last-minute cancellation email. And by last minute, I mean that our train was arriving at the meeting point about ten minutes before the scheduled start time - had we not had our eSIMs with data, we wouldn't have known that the tour was off. Our guide had a fever and so there wasn't much we could do, but had we received the notice even a half hour prior we wouldn't have left Nankin-machi and essentially derailed our day. To their credit they tried to reschedule us for the next day and were nice enough to provide a list of places we would have visited with a full refund when we explained that this wouldn't work. We decided to visit a couple of those places but it wasn't the same experience.
