From this vantage point, they will leisurely explore one of Japan’s largest herb gardens, featuring around 75,000 herbs and flowers from approximately 200 species that bloom throughout the year….
- Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens - Upon reaching the summit, visitors will be greeted with stunning vistas and the delightful fragrance of herbs and flowers. From this vantage point, they will leisurely explore one of Japan’s largest herb gardens, featuring around 75,000 herbs and flowers from approximately 200 species that bloom throughout the year.
After enjoying the serene beauty of these gardens, the group will return to the ropeway station to prepare for the descent. Once back on the ground, the journey continues towards Kitano Ijinkan, where various architectural styles can be admired, including Western, modern, and traditional Japanese houses. Finally, the group arrives at the charming Ijinkan street.
- Kitano Ijinkan-gai - The walk proceeds down the road to a Starbucks in the Kitano area, recognized as one of Japan’s tangible cultural properties. This Starbucks is stunning both inside and out and is a popular spot for photographs. The journey then continues to the Ikuta Shrine, the oldest shrine in the region and possibly one of the oldest in Japan.
- Ikuta Shrine - Upon arrival at Ikuta Shrine, the oldest in the prefecture, visitors can partake in water fortune telling at Ikuta Forest.
- Chinatown (Nankinmachi) - Lunch will be enjoyed at Kobe Chinatown Nankinmachi. Besides dining in restaurants, there is an opportunity to sample a variety of street foods in Chinatown. If time permits before the meeting, a brief stroll around Motomachi Shopping Street adjacent to Chinatown is recommended.
- Itami Morohaku and Nada’s fresh sake - Itami and Nada Gogo, a renowned brewing area known for sake - The trip concludes with a return to the port area to admire the vibrant night view. As a port city, Kobe is naturally close to the sea. Harbourland offers a chance to enjoy the beautiful illumination of the harbor.
