This package includes everything needed for a delightful day on the slopes: transportation to the ski resort, rental equipment (such as skis or snowboard, poles, boots and bindings, top and bottom wear, gloves, and goggles), lift passes, and optional lessons. It is perfect for beginners trying skiing or snowboarding for the first time, as well as seasoned enthusiasts eager to tackle Japan’s slopes without the inconvenience of transporting their gear.

The meetup point is inside the station, in front of the Information Board directly across from the Shinkansen ticket gates. Be sure to look for the guide wearing a SNOW MONKEY RESORTS tour tag and ensure you are there prior to the meetup time as the tour will need to depart by 07:45.

First ski experience - I went on a tour, skiing alone, attending a 2-hour course with a female teacher there, very kind teacher, very good teaching.

Fantastic experience - Partner and I booked in last minute to do a Ski and Snowboard experience. Was glad they could accommodate us despite the late request. The day ran so smoothly and followed the itinerary to a tee. We were adequately fitted with our gear. Our guide Joyce was so friendly and chill - exactly the vibe you want to make the day better. When we weren’t on the hills, Joyce was a great person to chat to and showed us how to do some origami. Strongly recommend!

Great experience - Smooth booking, tour guide was very communicating (Shawn) and shared interesting info along the way. Everything was well taken care of. And we were lucky with the slopes. Big resort area, great experience for less and more experienced people.

Excellently-organized one-day ski experience from Nagano - I was really glad to find this tour available in Nagano. Although I'm 43 I had never skied before and needed a bit of guidance to get started. This tour was the perfect solution with Nadine guiding us from morning station pick-up to dinner recommendations at day's end. Equipment including snow pants, jacket, boots, skis, poles, helmet, goggles and gloves were all provided at Snow Monkey's office a few minutes' walk from Nagano Station. Snow Monkey's bus took myself, the other guests, and Nadine to Okushiga Kogen, about an hour from Nagano city. This area was a good choice because it wasn't very crowded but connected to the wider resort area. Snow Monkey organized a morning lesson for me with an instructor from Shiga International Ski School. Simple but tasty lunches were available at the Okushiga Kogen lodge (figure JPY 1000-2000) or the nearby hotel. I spent the afternoon enjoying myself on the beginner's slope before we left for Nagano around 4PM. This tour is great for anyone with zero (like me) to a lifetime of ski experience, especially visitors to Japan who want to experience the Japanese Alps without having to bring their own gear or organize transport and lift passes on their own. Snow Monkey has quite a range of activities available and I recommend them to anyone looking to find a special experience in the Shinano region.

A great and awesome experience - It was fantastic! Ruka was a really nice tour guide! She tried to help as much as she can and answer our questions. She also helped fit us for the skiiing/snowboarding equipments and gears for us each.
My friend and I had really a fun, but tiring experience with skiiing and snowboarding. It was nice that they had also offer a 2 hour lessons for those who want to learn the sports for the first time!

Snow Tour in Augusta - We booked a ski trip from Nagano, a professional and careful guide and driver to help us to arrange all the equipment to the coach, and also give us a lot of practical advice, to chat in the car and share Japanese life and culture, so that we are very happy to play this day's trip, very great team, also especially thank you-Orlando❤️

snowboarding adventure in Nagano - I would like to thank Luka, who was very friendly and helpful despite my limited knowledge of the language. She guided us all the way to the ski slopes, giving us all the necessary instructions. The ski facilities are truly beautiful, and the rented equipment was of excellent quality. It was an extraordinary experience — a day I will never forget. Definitely something I would love to do again. Thank you, Snow Monkey Resorts!

The Best! - Had a blast! Everything was convenient, the gear was great, their office location just near the station, and transportation was seamless. Shout out to Kevin, Nadine, and Shawn -- they are awesome people, incredibly helpful and shared the best recommendations. Ended up coming back multiple times. Highly recommend!

Great skiing experience - One day trip to the ski resort to meet the ski instructor to learn the basics for skiing. The guide and instructor were very friendly and patient. All ski equipments were provided and fitted at the snow monkey resort office near the train station before heading to the resort for the lesson. The resort that was chosen that day by the company was not very crowded, good for beginners to learn.

I enjoyed the ski tour! - The all inclusive ski tour was great. Snow Monkey Resorts (SMR) organised everything very well, the out-fit and gears provided are in good condition. Orlando from SMR, being the team leader and driver at the same time, is very kind, patient and caring. I enjoyed the day. Thanks Orlando and the team!
