Great experience - Great experience, our guide was very pleasant. We arrived on the island a little before the crowd, which allowed us to enjoy the scenery and pigs in peace.

Great value private boat tour - We did the morning half-day with my 2YO son, and a friend with her kids (11YO and 13YO). We all loved it, particularly the snorkelling. I'm so glad we did the long tail boat and not a speedboat tour as we had the boat to ourselves and could dictate the schedule. We got to pig Island first, before it was completely overrun with people and were able to leave when we were done (seriously, 45-mins there was long enough to befriend the thirsty pigs, wander around and have a swim). We then went to Koh Tan for the snorkelling, and all gear was provided, even a life-jacket for my 2YO which meant he could go in the water too, which he loved. When we were done they happily took us back to Koh Samui for lunch. Great morning.

More than worth it !!!! - amazing experience - Amazing & smooth from start to finish!!! We wanted to avoid over crowded boats and stops we were not necessarily interested in therefore we opted for a private experience. This was perfect, the captain took us directly to pig island where we stopped off for a few hours, once the island got over crowded & busy he took us directly back to the port which was empty. Boats were coming in FULL of people i couldn't imagine how hot and squashed it must have been. Snorkelling was an option but we only wanted to visit the pigs!! Highly highly recommend this, the price is more than worth it to have your own boat, thanks again for a great experience!!

Interesting day out, but not quite the calming experience we anticipated - We did a private trip, and glad we did as we were first on the island in the morning. It could also be called dog island as there are as many dogs as pigs, and can be a bit overwhelming! The pigs were still sleeping, no guide told us what to do until other people arrived and we saw them with plates of food for the pigs. Warning - they are greedy and steal the whole plate from your hand! We were told we had 2 hours on the island, but Once we'd had a little potter with the pigs and the dogs, after an hour we were ready to go so again a private tour was good as we could make our own way back We then stopped at a snorkeling point and this was great! Good to see local fish and float in the wonderful sea.

Cute half-day trip with children - We had a private boat for 4 and were therefore able to allocate the time freely. Were picked up at the hotel at 08:00 and were one of the first on the island -advantageous! Pigs are plentiful, food can be bought. There is also a restaurant on the island. Snorkelling was nothing for our little one (4 years) yet, I stayed with her on the boat. The tall one (6 years) was thrilled. Life jackets also available for children.

Easy Morning Trip - We had an enjoyable morning visiting Pig island, it was great to have the flexibility of our own traditional Longtail boat. We left early so were one of the first on Pig Island, we avoided the crowds and got to pat the pigs and dogs, have a swim in the crystal clear water and have a drink from the bar. Once all the other tourist boats arrived we went to the snorkeling site where we had the reef to ourselves. The reef is not as good for snorkeling as Koh Tao but we saw plenty of fish and sting rays. The guide was considerate and polite though didn't talk or tell us anything about the places we were going.

Crowded and dirty ! - Too many tourists in a small area. The experience is once again spoiled by the crowds. An entrance fee (50 Baths per person) is charged when you arrive on the beach, supposedly to clean the beach and maintain the toilets. Who are we kidding? The beach is littered with cigarette butts (when are tourists going to be taught to throw their garbage in the garbage cans?!!), paper and plastic bottles, but the worst thing is the surrounding area: a real nightmare! Hundreds of plastic bottles (among other garbage) litter the shoreline. A real shame! As for the toilets: no comment The long-tail crossing is nice, and so is the snorkeling, if only we could have seen something in this polluted, murky water. On the plus side, the pigs seem to be well cared for, and the timetables were respected.

Not worth it - Terrible. Was a big storm i asked if its okay to go on a boat with 2 year old in this weather, they said its ok. It was the worst trip that i experienced, the way on the boat in the storm was like from horor movie. My toddler was terrified. Pigs were nice but not worth the money.
