Additional Information

We set off from Central Florida, making our way along the freeway past Tampa to the Gulf of Mexico. Upon reaching the beach, you have until 12:45 pm to wander along the pier or sand, even stopping for lunch if you’d like. Our afternoon deep-sea fishing experience commences at 1 pm, lasting for a total of four hours.

The favored fishing spots are approximately 10 miles away from the dock, which usually makes for a travel time of between 45 mins- 1 hour. For any fishing newcomers, rest assured, our welcoming crew will be more than happy to assist. Make sure to seek advice from the crew while on route to the fishing area, ensuring you get the most out of your fishing experience.

In general, we aim to make 2 - 3 stops depending on the fish’s response! The catch often includes Grunts (from the Snapper family), Sea Bass, and occasionally Grouper. During the hotter seasons, we might even catch various types of shark.

Should you wish to take your catch home, the crew has facilities to chill it for you. Remember to bring a cooler for transport back!

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • The boat ride goes 10 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico, and we recommend you take travel sickness tablets if necessary
  • Should you wish to bring ‘your catch’ home don’t forget a cooler.
  • Not recommended for travelers whom suffer from sea sickness

Brilliant service from Oscar - Today I went on the deep sea fishing day tour in the Gulf of Mexico from Orlando. Oscar was my driver and I have to say he was brilliant his driving was very safe and he was very knowledgeable of the Clearwater area. Traffic was heavy on the way back but Oscars driving was impeccable and everyone on the bus got to their destinations safely. I highly recommend the gray line Orlando and recommend Oscar even more. Thankyou very much again Oscar

Drowning bait - Had gone on the half day cruise last year, and had a great time! But the half day trip was all booked so we took the full day one! What a mistake! Boat was much narrower than the other so it pitched and rolled way more! Spent 2 hours chugging out into the Gulf! Spent 4 hours floating around trying to find fish! My grandson and I caught maybe 8 small trash fish between us! Very boring! Some people caught a number of fish but the overall take looked pretty small for that many people fishing for 4 hours! Take the half day trip or don’t go!!!

Sad - My family and I didn't get to go. They canceled our trip the day prior. We were told because of weather. They offered to reschedule but it would of been after our flight back home. Therefore I had no choice but to request a full refund for 4 ppl. (Which I am currently waiting on)
