Experience and guide review - The visit to the Trunyans cemetery was truly a unique experience. Our guide, Wayan, was very friendly with deep knowledge of the village's history and traditions.

Fascinating trip! - What a tour! We visited the Skull Island and had an amazing time with our lovely tour guide Wayan! He showed us the place, gave us very helpful tips, and spent time explaining the history behind the village. We are very grateful for him, he gave us an exciting trip to remember! Matur Suksma 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Long day, but worth it - Be prepared for a very long day with badroads, and lots of traffic. But once you get there, it is a trip of a lifetime. I love the hot spring time we had and the cemetery was truly an amazing once in a lifetime, National Geographic type moment.

Very good day out... - Very good day out experienced the heat from earth's core and enjoyed buggy ride and seen something never seen before rotting copses very interesting day and finished with a 3 course meal which was very nice

Exotic tour to Terunyan cemetery - We had very fascinating and interesting tour to Terunyan cemetery which was thrilling place to see but not spooky at all. Our guide/driver Putu was very friendly, professional and flexible. He could notice our special needs helpfully and lighted up new info for us about balinese culture, history and origin. Highly recommended.

Good Karma - Wow! What an amazing day with Wayan! We feel so incredibly grateful for the hospitality, excitement, knowledge, and energy Wayan so generously shared with us. His stories are fantastic, rooted in deep wisdom of Bali life and he paced our day well, allowing us time to explore, ask questions, and experience each location without feeling rushed. He is a fabulous photographer and will ensure your day is well documented!
Wayan goes above and beyond. For example, when we expressed interest in participating in a water blessing at Tirta Empul, Wayan supported us to do so, and generously offered teachings to ensure a meaningful and appropriate experience.
Matur Suksma Wayan - we cannot wait to return to Bali and reconnect with you!
(For reference, in addition to going to Trunyan Village we opted to also go to Tirta Empul, Mother Temple, and the waterfall)

This trip is a different... - This trip is a different experience to other tours in Bali. Widana has been a very knowledgable guide. Though I travelled solo, he made the trip fun and explained a lot about the local culture as well as the history of sites. We have seen the cemetery, the view of Mt Batur and lake from the restaurant, and visited a coffee plantation. It is worth adding the temple if you have time, Widana is very passionate about Hindu.

Ok - Don’t get me wrong. The tour guide was perfect but the tour is very short. For the money I paid (230$) we pass by hot springs but ticket was not included. If you want to go to see Trunyan cemetery better from Ubud.
