Amazing morning views - Great event, driver and guide were lovely and very helpful, I was on my own so really appreciated all the photos and videos the guide took and walking around the whole crater.

Best tour in Bali - The most amazing tour I’ve done in Bali so far! Even though we didn’t see the sunrise I had the best time and wouldn’t change a thing. My driver Putu Pande was excellent, a very safe driver who was happy to chat all things Bali along the way. My tour guide Wayan Budiawan was one of the nicest guys I’ve met, he looked after me the whole way, holding my hand to help me up when the climb got difficult. He carried water, walking sticks and snacks for me. We laughed together all the way up and all the way down and he always took advantage of every photo opportunity. The breakfast after at the restaurant offers an amazing view with food to match. The stop at the coffee plantation after is spectacular, with a huge variety to taste all included. I couldn’t say one bad thing about my experience and I will definitely be booking again in the dry season to hopefully see the sunrise!

Great Mountain Hike & Sunrise - Had a great early morning hike with Jro. Very polite and knowledgeable about the area and the best spots for photos. Also made us some great drinks and snacks at the top of the hike. 5/5 great time.

Hard to imagine a better Batur guide - Had a wonderful time thanks to our lovely guide Wayan Budiawan and driver Alit. Wayan was really helpful and friendly, and we really appreciated the panoramic spots and scenic routes away from the crowd. He also took amazing photos and videos of us. Would definitely recommend

Mount Batur - We thoroughly enjoyed our trek up Mount Batur to see the sunrise. It is definitely worth doing if you like exercise and a magical experience. Our guide JRO was very knowledgeable and took great photos for us. He also cared for our safety. Scott & Erika

The mountain mafia - A great moment completely corrupted by the guide mafia. My advice: negotiate as much as possible. Once parked in the tourist enclosure towards where your vehicle will drop you off, you will be entitled to a crepe and coffee. Then begins a long wandering towards the starting point where the guides work hard to certainly earn a few rupees by taking charge of the groups. Whatever you have negotiated in terms of organization should not go as planned, stay firm with what you have paid for. There are many prices but I think that around 250k rupees per person excluding transfer from your hotel you are in a good price (I paid way too much in fact but I still got a guide for my wife and me). Although you will probably be in a group of 6+ people, the tour with a private guide is nice to go at your own pace. Once at the top choose your spot. Beware of the coffee and tea offered even if it may seem included you will be asked 30k rupees per hot drink. Don't be mad, wasps, you should be cold enough to want this hot drink. Otherwise the spectacle is exceptional if you are lucky enough not to have clouds. The sunrise alone deserves 5 stars but in view of the organization it is important to reduce. To do without a doubt!
