Highlights
  • Mount Batur - Short briefing by local experienced trekking guide. It takes 2 hours to climb to the top of the mountain. We traverse the edge of the volcanic cone to observe the crater from the most recent eruption. This volcano is currently active and has had eruptions in 1804, 1814, 1926, and the latest in 2000. As we descend from the crater, we’ll return to the black lava paths formed by the initial eruptions. While admiring the stunning sunrise from the summit, we’ll provide a light breakfast consisting of eggs, bread, and your choice of tea or coffee. On our descent, we’ll encounter numerous monkeys and pass by local farms cultivating garlic, tomatoes, chilies, and onions. Afterwards, we’ll visit a coffee plantation before heading back to the hotel.
