The Mead experience - Our tour started with a warm and friendly greeting by our tour guide Zara. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. My favorite part of the tour was tasting the delicious honey from which Mead are made. After the tour we sampled some of their Mead, which was the perfect way to end our very enjoyable tour.

A must see stop in Kinsale! - Our tour guide Zara was amazing! We did the tour more because it was something my wife wanted to try (I’m not really a wine person), but not only did we both love the tour & Zara, but we both absolutely enjoyed every one of the meads we sampled.

Highly recommend tour! - We are thrilled to see Kinsale Mead Company reclaiming Ireland's long mead-making tradition. The tour provides history, samples and fun. If you think mead is too sweet, you will be pleasantly surprised by discovering recipes that are crisp, refreshing,, without being overly sweet.. They have many varieties and you are sure to find one that you live. There is easy parking. Or, if you are at The Spaniard and able to do stairs, it is a fairly short walk Don't miss this if you are in Kinsale!
