Highly Recommend this tour and service, BUT...... - This tour is an amazing day and does not disappoint. The weather always adds to the success of these types of excursions, and our day the Gods shone upon us! Great cloud formations for pictures, no fog or rain to contend with, blue sky and sun, incredible atmosphere and never a dull moment of interesting things to see, touch, taste and smell. A great combination of bus, walking and exercise to keep you engaged. I would have given this tour a 5 rating, but fell short because although our driver was entertaining and knew the areas/stops well, his attitude at times was a bit "off putting". Harsh at times in his tone, a "tough guy" image that might be part of his "act", but does came off as condescending at times. For example; at the end of the tour when we left the bus, he sincerely said, and I quote; "I don't want your thank yous, you're supposed to leave tips!", wow! His name is Patrick and he was entertaining and his stories were interesting but needs to tone down the attitude a wee bit ;-)

Ring of Kerry - Everything was on time. We saw a lot of great places and views. We had fog on the tour day, so some of the views were missed because of that.

Actual Itinerary differed from online description - I read the reviews complaining about most of the tour time being taken up by small town and the bog museum stops, whilst it’s nice to support the local community, and the stops were lovely, it seemed a bit off balance. Myself and a lot of reviewers would prefer the time spent enjoying the natural beauty of the ring of kerry. I decided to still go on this tour as it included Dingle bay and torc waterfall in the itinerary, only one of which was covered by the hop on hop of bus. I really wanted to see dingle bay so I booked this tour. We didn’t stop at dingle bay or inch beach which was hugely disappointing for me, as it was included in the itinerary, and the bog museum was not included in the itinerary. Despite this disappointment I still had a pretty good time and enjoyed the national park focused stops over the tourist stops, and the history and info provided by the guide himself.

Kevin Is A Great Tour Guide! - Our Ring of Kerry trip was not a very weather cooperative day so we missed most photo ops & it was raining so hard, we didn’t see much out the window either unfortunately. Kevin, our guide, was absolutely the best however We caught our bus in Killarney and didn’t know most folks boarded in Limerick. The bus had only a few seats left when we boarded. A party of 3 who boarded wi/us was allowed to sit together. We weren’t given that opportunity and were a bit bummed. Next time I know to look for a tour that originates where I am at. We sat on the aisle seats & you can’t take pics or video from those seats. I’ve done the Ring before & sunny weather is the way to see it!
