Wow, wow WOW - An absolutely breathtaking and spectacular day. We loved every minute of it. We were considering walking, but decided to take the Jaunting cart, and we are SO glad we did! It made our trip even more memorable. I can’t speak highly enough of our guide-Micheal, he answered all our questions and spoke so passionately about the area-his local knowledge was second to none. We then had the most delicious vegetable soup at the cafe-an absolute must-before getting on the boat tour. Rory, like Micheal was amazing, I can’t help thinking how lucky we were to have both these guides taking us on our tour Honestly the most amazing day, couldn’t recommend it more

Wonderful cherished adventure! - We loved every minute of it. The classic bus was adorable!!! Our boat captain Timmy was authentic and great! We got soaked in the boat the weather turned windy and rainy… that just added to the adventure! The jaunting cart was an absolute highlight and very exciting! Our driver Mike was awesome… we laughed all the way! Tom our horse was mighty, strong and wonderful! He liked the hugs of gratitude afterwards. We will cherish this memory forever! ❤️

Absolutely beautiful and well worth the trip. - We had such a great time! A little chilly in November for a Californian, but well worth it. Highly recommend! Patrick had us dying laughing the whole time and even let me take the reins for a moment. Dolly (the pony) wasn't a huge fan of mine. Beautiful scenery, and good company. - Paige Trego

Wowzers... 7 miles of beautifulness - This was so hard but wonderful in the same moment. I was not mentally prepared for 7 miles... 3.5 of them up hill... but I did it. Bring water. Wear layers and say hi to the other walkers. The drive there was great. The boat ride was amazing. Great guides... the treats at Brandon's Cottage was great. Bring cash!

Gorgeous Views Gap of Dunloe - Awesome trip through Gap of Dunloe. The bus arrived right on time for pick up and took us promptly to begin the jaunting cart ride. While it was difficult to figure out how to get a cart as there was no organized cue, Patrick agreed to take us with Silver. Patrick was the highlight of the trip, keeping us entertained and laughing the entire way. On steep inclines, we did have to get out and walk up, which if you’re not expecting was somewhat difficult. The scenery on this trip was stunning, being viewed both by the jaunting cart and the open boat back to Ross Castle. Super way to see the gorgeous views inside the Killarney Natl Park.

Wow, Wow, Wow - Absolutely one of the best tours we have taken. The boat trip was stunning, even with the rain! Thank goodness it cleared up before the boat section was finished. Incredible scenery. Lunch at Lord Brandon’s Cottage (own expense) was very reasonably priced. The absolute best part of the trip is the jaunting car. You can walk that section of course but being in our 70’s we decided on the car. Also did not what to be time pressured. The jaunting car experience was fantastic. We couldn’t have had a better driver than Tim with his horse Johnson. Tim made it such a fun trip and his knowledge of the area was brilliant. He stopped whenever we wanted to take a photo which was appreciated. Thank you so much for a truly memorable day.

Chilly but picturesque -not to be missed! - I'm not sure there is a better way to really experience and explore the Gap of Dunloe than the combination boat and jaunting car. The views are incredible! It is a chilly adventure to be sure in October, but I wouldn't have missed it. The only improvements I would make is to allow a couple more points to slow down the cart and boat for passengers to photograph and to offer a bit more history and perspective to the passengers. Both our cart driver and boat driver were very quiet, and though they responded to questions, they didn't offer a lot of extra information.

great value and experience - This was a phenomenal way to see Killarney National Park and the Gap. Contrary to other reviewers we actually started at Ross Castle and they gave us 45 minutes to tour it before hopping on the boat. The directions and expectations were very clear and each of our guides were funny, personable and knowledgeable! My personal favorite part was the boat ride. For the jaunting cart, I would have rather hiked this but we wre traveling with two older family members who were unable to hike the trail and they loved the jaunting cart. I felt a little bad for the horses and offered to get out several times as they are constantly climbing steep hills, so this was not my favorite part, but our guide was gentle with his horse. Overall I think this was a great value for the experience and we would love to come back and explore the park some more!
