Situated at the core of Killarney National Park, Muckross provides a perfect setting for a day of cycling. Commence your journey in Killarney town, cycle on Muckross road, cross the Flesk bridge, and then you can transition to the bike path that guides you straight into the National Park. Please remember that this path is also utilized by Jaunting cars and pedestrians.

The path runs parallel to the road for approximately a kilometer before diverging right into the Yew Valley Wood and heading towards the Muckross Abbey of the 15th century. Allocate some time to visit the abbey to explore its well-preserved ruins and vaulted cloister.
