The road meanders through the Gaelic-speaking Corca Dhuibhne, starting at Ventry Beach, passing the 4000-year-old beehive huts, and continuing to Dunquin with stunning views of the Great Blasket Island and the Sleeping Giant. The peninsula boasts beautiful beaches at Coonenoole and Clogherhead, where “Far and Away” was filmed. The drive passes through the picturesque village of Ballyferriter.

Don’t miss Dingle’s most famous resident, Fungi the Dolphin.
