ARRIVAL
Altezza Travel - Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you will meet an Altezza Travel representative, and transfer to the hotel under the rate. The hotel will provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, hot water, polite staff, a swimming pool, and Internet access. In the evening, there will be a briefing with our managers, who will also make sure you are ready to begin the climb.
Note: Check-in starts at 2:00 PM.

Amazing experience! - We had such a wonderful experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Altezza Travel. Our guides and crew were incredible! They were professional, knowledgeable, kind, fun, and patient. We learned so much from them. Altezza exceeded all of our expectations from the first planning email to our certificate ceremony. My expedition to Mt.Kilimanjaro - Firstly, Kilimanjaro is beautiful.It was my first time trekking and with Altezzas help, I chose to go the 8 day Kenosha route.
Anna, their business manager was super responsive and would get back over a WhatsApp chat super fast. I also found quality of responses to be very good. I mainly chose Altezza because of her..
My trek began on 16th and I landed in JRO 2 days before to give sufficient time to get ready for the trek and get my gears in place..
Beata - Our travel manager was there to receive us and checked all our equipment and ensured we are ready for the trek. Her quality of advice, style of engagement was unique. She was patient, knowledgeable and ensured that as clients we felt reassured about the trip..
Guides - Elia, Josep b, Innocent, Joseph c, Mark were all great.. they were always around to help. They motivated me based on my requirements and ensured I remained positive. I summited on 22nd and it was a beautiful accomplishment.. feel like a champion today!!
All in all, I loved the trek and that was also because of the Altezza team. They are just fabulous!! Will give them 5 out of 5 stars

Trek of a lifetime - I did research on tour groups for a private family and friend climb of Kilimanjaro. I settled on Altezza Travel based on success rate of climbers, pre-booking support and positive feedback from prior trekkers. I had high expectations and the actual experience far exceeded these expectations! From pre-trip logistic support, first class accommodations, (we opted for stay at Kili Villa), to an incredible mountain support team lead by Peter, who kept us happy, safe and ultimately successful in our climb to the summit the total experience was incredible. Once we touched down in Kilimanjaro airport until our departure, the Altezza support team provided first rate transport, baggage control, gear checks, last minute equipment rentals, and flawless handling of paperwork and billing. The Kili Villa option was well worth the upgrade with superb food for all, including vegans and pescatarians, beautiful rooms and great service. Special Thank You to Rebecca and host team! The climb itself was as advertised a tough one! The support team of porters, people who set up camp, and our guides Peter, Joseph and Osward made all the difference in our ability to enjoy the hike and summit. Tent set up, private toilets, twice a day health check, acclimation hikes and even hot water bottle rabbits for those cool evenings all made a difference. The team celebrated our success and was always there to lighten our loads and provide encouragement or a smile to keep us going. Special shout out to the chef and team, who provided amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner meals, still talking about fajitas for dinner and tea breaks. Thank you to all who made this a trek of a lifetime.

Best experience - We just came back from Tanzania. Our whole trip was arranged by Altezza travel.I had an amazing experience because of them. We took a bicycle tour around Moshi the first day, before our climb. It was an interesting first day experience. We biked along the city and Rau forest resort.
The second day we started our Mt. Kilimanjaro climb. We took 8 days Lemosho route. Our group leader, guides, cook, waiter, camp supervisor, all the porters and other crew members were very Profesional, efficient and I couldn't ask for more. They made our experience special.
After that we went on 4 days of safari, again, everything was well planed and organized. I definitely recommend Altezza travel to anyone who wants a smooth and unforgettable Tanzania experience

Super trip to Mt Kilimanjaro organised by Altezza - Altezza Travel made our trek up to Mt Kilimanjaro a memorable one. Everest detail was well taken care of . Food of course gets very monotonous after the 4th day but on the mountains this is understandable. Special mention to our chief guide Frank and his crew of Khatib, Beltran and Regis.

Nailed it - My trip with Altezza Travel was a blast, thanks to a team that really knows how to make things special. Ava, our sales manager, was a superstar from start to finish. She wasn’t just helpful; she was like a friend who made sure we were comfy and happy every step of the way. It was a surprise seeing her on location, going the extra mile to see that we all had a pleasant stay at the hotel.
Abraham, our group lead, was fantastic. Fun, helpful, friendly, encouraging, and supporting to all throughout. Special shoutout to him and one of the porters, Innocent, who helped me down the mountain as my head was throbbing from the altitude (I skipped the Diamox). They helped me get down safely, and kept me entertained on the way down. The vibe with our group was top-notch, too—everyone was all about having fun and looking out for each other.
Altezza Travel nailed it—great adventures, awesome people, and memories I won’t forget. Big cheers to Ava, Abraham, and the crew for making it all happen with extra smiles and laughs along the way!

Wonderful experience with a great travel company - We had such an amazing experience with Altezza Travel. The steps up to the day of the hike were handled in such a friendly and professional manner, and Sophia was always there to answer whatever questions we had. Doris was very thorough with the equipment check and Neema handled the pre-hike details perfectly. From the first minute we met our guides, porters and crew, we knew were in very safe hands. Kombe, Frank and Imran, our main guides, were attentive, caring and supportive. Jonas walked with me all the way to the top and I am very grateful for his company and help. Thanks also to Kesi, Aloisi, Kiloe, Joseph and all the other members of the crew. It is no exaggeration to say that their professionalism, help and support got us to the top!
I have no hesitation in recommending Altezza!

Kili dream come true! - we climbed Kili via 8 day Lemosho route and it was an absolute blast! Could not be happier about the whole experience and ofcourse - the team that made this dream come true. Starting from the experienced and brilliant guides (Elia & Jafari), ending with the most amazing shef (Albat) and waiter (Jan is the rockstar) and ofcouse - every single porter and supporter (special kudos goes to Emanuel & Henri for all the help during summit night!)
Alteza did an amazing job on planning the whole climb for us and preparing everything for us, hence I would most deffinetally recomend booking with Alteza. You do not get just an experienced & profesional guides, but little added bonuses like “bunny” heaters, tea to your tent every morning and so on.
Anyone who dreams on climbing Kili should do it and they should do it with these guys! ❤️
