Best Way to See Kigali in a Day - We wouldn't have been able to see so much in one day without this awesome tour. Visiting the Genocide Museum and Memorial were definitely the most impacting of the entire trip. We are so grateful to Harry, our wonderful guide, who offsered great depth and perspective to our experience. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and flexible, considering the sudden change in weather. Harry offered great insight into the history and culture, enhancing the overall experience of this beautiful tour. Highly recommend!

Best. Tour. Ever: Culture, Nature, Art, Architecture and More... - I can not say enough about this tour! In a nutshell, it was amazing and I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to get a slice of what Kigali has to offer in a short time. I travel a lot and often sign up for tours and experiences and this tour was one of my favorites. I spent quite a bit of time reading reviews on trip advisor and am SO glad I settled on this one. It was everything I wanted. A full day of wonder, immersive experiences, inspiration, education, culture and nature. As a solo traveler with only a couple days in Kigali, I wanted top get out and around to see as much as possible. This tour fit the bill, and tour guide Hurry made the whole thing meaningful and amazing. Hurry (vs Harry) was the consummate gentleman and tour guide, so knowledgeable and personable and intelligent and funny (I literally laughed so hard once I cried all my eye makeup off.. lol). I really enjoyed being with him and felt completely at ease. Hurry is passionate about his country and was willing to engage and answer my questions about anything and everything (this was my first time in Rwanda.). I told Hurry that I’m an artist and was interested in seeing street art, galleries, the colorful neighborhoods where things are painted up and lively, and so he balanced and personalized the tour for me. I SO appreciated this. Hurry pick ed me up at my hotel in his blue car and was immediately welcoming. After a quick visit to the convention center to look at a massive sculpture I was interested in getting a closer look at (gifted to Rwanda to acknowledge anti-corruption), Hurry took me almost to the top of Mt Kigali and we looked down over the city, hills and houses. Kigali has a lushness with green all over and from this view it was easy to see why Rwanda is called the Land of a Thousand Hills. After that Hurry took me to the Nyamirambo neighborhood, where we walked around and soaked in the atmosphere. I loved this lively area, which reminded me of similar neighborhoods in Dakar and Accra. After that we visited the Kimironko Market and it was a trip! I love bustling markets and I was 1000% glad Hurry was my guide there because I would have been lost. A maze of small aisles with many people selling anything and everything…colors, smells, sounds of life. I felt totally safe and cared for. Hurry even helped me bargain for the things I purchased. He was also able to guide/ advise me when it was cool to take photos. I do a lot of street photography and I want to be respectful. We had lunch at a cool and relaxed Rwandan restaurant that was super down home with huge clay pots of traditional Rwandan food served buffet-style. After we ate we went walking in Nyandungu Eco Park a protected wetland with birds and a paved path winding throughout the wetlands. They’ve planted 70,000 trees here in the past decade. It was beautiful. Birds, birds, birds! Many families and couples walking or scooting around on rented scooters. We closed the day with a visit to Niyo Arts Center, a gallery and creative space (with a community children’s program), covered in colorful murals with a cafe. The gallery shows the work of 17 artists and we were free to roam through the different rooms at our leisure with one of the artists on hand to welcome us and answer any questions. We capped the day with a quick errand that I was grateful for help with, and Hurry took me back to the hotel. By the time he dropped me off I felt like I was saying goodbye to an old friend. A wonderful, unforgettable day with a seriously amazing guide and host. Worth every penny. I can not recommend this tour enough! Thank you so much to Hurry.

A Great Day in Kigali - What a wonderful day being shown around Kigali! I only had one day in the city, so it was great to see the sites and learn about the history of Rwanda. Harry was a fantastic host, tailored the tour to what I wanted to see, and we had a great conversation. I can't recommend this tour enough.

The sights and sounds of Kigali - It was a memorable experience ....had an authentic day trip around Kigali with a guide who had extensive local knowledge. Other than the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the two car free areas, the Nyandugu Eco-Tourism Park and an art Museum that also holds the remains of the plane that crashed killing Rwanda's former president thereby triggering the genocide were sights to behold.

Land of a Thousand Hills - The ultimate guide (Harry) in the most memorable and remarkable city (Kigali), the “Land of a Thousand Hills”. From the morning pickup at the Radisson Blu to the end of the tour, every moment on this city tour was magical, comprehensive and unforgettable. Harry picked us up from the Radisson Blu a couple minutes early and gave us a great overview of the day before we headed out. Harry was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and accommodating and made it very interactive and fun, he was open to sharing all he knows about the city, country, food and culture as a whole. The itinerary was varied but not limited to the Genocide Memorial, The Parliament Museum, The Presidential Palace Museum, through the five neighborhoods, Mt. Kigali, several markets including (Nyamirambo & Kimironko), Zip line, Nyadungu Urban Wetland Eco-Tourism, The Park Kigali Car Free zone and Kiyovu open art gallery. we had on this tour. I can’t recommend Harry (Porter) nick named "the transporter" highly enough, the trip was well packaged, i highly recommended. FIVE STARS.
