• Kigali - After being picked up, enjoy a scenic drive through the city on the way to Gahanga local market, our first destination. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
• Gahanga Market - Explore Gahanga, a local market on the outskirts of Kigali. Experience the vibrant daily life of a local market, distinct from the typical shopping mall atmosphere. The market vendors, predominantly women, are friendly and welcoming. If you wish to take photos, kindly ask the guide to request permission on your behalf.
• Uzuri K&Y - Visit the Uzuri K&Y workshop:

Note: Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

At the Uzuri K&Y workshop, observe numerous young individuals engaged in the Rwandan shoe-making process. In alignment with the Rwandan government’s youth skill enhancement policy, the workshop accommodates both apprentices and employees, with factory staff often emerging from the apprentice group. The workshop’s finished products are displayed in the Uzuri K&Y showroom. Later in the tour, visit the showroom to purchase a souvenir and support their initiative.

• Nyabarongo - Akagera is the river that separates Kigali from the Eastern province and flows through Akagera National Park, dividing Rwanda and Tanzania. This river continues to Lake Victoria and eventually forms the Nile River. At the Akagera River, enjoy the stunning views of its marshlands and surrounding hills. Following this, stop at Rebero Mount to admire the view of central Kigali city and the Kigali Convention Centre on the horizon.
• Kigali Heights - Visit the Uzuri K&Y showroom to see the Rwandan-made sandals. Located in Kigali Heights, a modern shopping and entertainment center in Kigali, this visit allows you to see the finished products from the workshop visited earlier.
• Afrika Bite - Enjoy a buffet-style lunch, selecting dishes according to your preferences. Plan to spend approximately one hour at the lunch venue.
• Kigali CarFree Zone - Take a 15-minute drive and stroll through the Kigali car-free zone, visiting a handicraft shop before driving through Nyamirambo, one of Kigali’s oldest suburbs.
• Kigali Genocide Memorial - Spend approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Upon arrival, the memorial staff will provide a briefing on how to proceed with the visit. Visitors can also rent an audio guide for a more detailed explanation at each stop within the memorial.
• Ubumwe Grande Hotel - Relax at the Ubumwe Grande Hotel rooftop bar. Enjoy an afternoon coffee, tea, or any beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) with your guide while taking in the breathtaking view of Kigali city. As this is the final activity, the guide will debrief and drop you off at your preferred location in Kigali City.
