Stunning view - We had a sunset dinner on Chao Phraya Cruise only 790 Baht each with unlimited local draft beer. Thai food was fine. Some dishes were pretty hot and spicy but nice. Loads of Vietnamese and Chinese tour groups during our visit (Chinese New Year week end of January 2025). Long wait for buffet if you wanna eat straight away. No queue if you wait 30-40 mins later. People wanna eat first then take photo in the front part of the cruise. I reckon you do other way round for less hustle. Stunning view during sunset and easy to take photo when it's not too dark. Sunset dinner (1st round at 17.00) is also cheaper than dinner cruise at 19.00 (2nd round) or 21.00 (3rd round). Better avoid weekends for less hustle.

Fascinating - Excellent experience, worth every penny. Dinner is varied, meets all tastes. The music is great and there's still a dance show.

Maybe Not For Everyone - This is basically a party boat which takes you up and down the Chao Phraya River. There is a band playing mostly American music and traditional Thai dancers perform on the boat. There is also a light show from the shore. All of the tourist sites are lit up, there are dozens of lasers which light up the sky, and there is a very impressive drone shore. The food is above average, but the ship is crowded and the food is spread out all over the ship, some of the food was on different floors. I thought it was too much of an effort to carry food from a different level of the ship, up stairs and past dozens of people. A one point of the trip, suddenly all of the employees started to move speakers and decorations; and then it became obvious why- we were sailing under a bridge with very little clearance. Once we cleared the bridge, everyone started to put things back in there places. Then we did the whole thing over again on the way back to the docking area. I found it entertaining. When we first started the excursion, I thought- not for me, but I soon changed my mind. Everyone had a great time.

Fun family activity! - Fun family activity to do. Keep your expectations reasonable and you will not regret the cruise. It is well organized and like the tour operator recommends, pls plan on reaching on time. Bangkok traffic can be challenging around the cruise time. The tour is a fun, relaxing way to see some of the sites of Bangkok in the night lights. Floating on the river, music in the background, food and drink with family. Food and drink are average, there were some options for vegetarians too. The band did it best to engage everyone with the music. By the end of the tour they had most people dancing to the lively music. I think a Bangkok visit without the river cruise could be considered incomplete.

Recommend a place for a formal dinner. - The buffalo rule is expensive everywhere in Korea, Japan. I've been looking all over the internet, and it's different from a top-notch restaurant at 35,000 yen per person. We went to the "Okamoto" fish shop, which could be satisfied with a small budget because we didn't have a great hobby. Originally it was called a Korean restaurant, but the afternoon meal was very expensive, so I had a formal meal of 7,700 yen per person. Shell, shell, shell, shell, shell... I didn't see the end of the meal. The atmosphere of the dining room is similar to that of the Korean restaurant, which is run by a couple of Korean owners. Facilities are sluggish but the materials are fresh, there is quality. It was nice to taste the sophisticated "fucking" routine even with a light pocket. Those who go to Kitakush and Simonoseki will be satisfied if you come in and eat once in a while. If you can speak Japanese, it is convenient to make a reservation in advance. We just went and waited for about 30 minutes and were barely able to sit.

Awesome views. Invest in a more efficient cruise company. - Cruising the river offers amazing views. I took the cruise on new year eve and it was a wonderful way to celebrate the last day of the year. Also the two singers on the boat were amazing. However, the food on this cruise was mediocre, the ticketing and waiting process prior to boarding the boat is not well organized and was frustrating. I still had fun but if I took a cruise tour again I would invest a few more dollars to go on a cruise that departs from iconsiam, that offered a more elevated customer service.

Huge Disappointment on the River - I would not recommend. The worst buffet I have ever been to. The food was well below average, cold even though it was supposed to be hot and spot the prawns. We were expecting Thai food but instead, spaghetti bolognaise, sushi, chicken mussamen (mainly potatoes and chicken bones). The mussels were supposed to be from New Zealand, but we are from there, and we know that they were not NZ mussels. The prawns (what little of them were there) were old, tasteless, dry and chewy! Couldn't eat any of it. It's not fresh food. We were seated right next to the speakers and it was too loud (Vegas style singers). Not a nice atmosphere with a lot of drunk people jumping around. The only nice thing to say is the staff could see we were not enjoying the noise, so were nice enough to move us to a different spot. I wouldn't recommend it. If there are any other ways to take photos of the attractions at night then I would take that option. We stood by the door for the last 15mins because we couldn't wait to get off the boat. Don't waste the money on this so called 5 star dinner cruise. I guess they are not expecting any repeat business as they just need to get the tourists once, so no high standard required here. We ended up getting dinner afterward from 7 eleven. Sad!

Travstore almost ruined... - Travstore almost ruined the new year celebrations for us. They accepted the request in viator but haven't forwarded the request to the cruise ship company. They had more than 13 days to reply to the request. When we discovered that there was no table booked for us at the cruise ship but I even received a booking confirmation on viator app on the 31st, travstore did no effort to resolve this issue and just told me to request a refund.
