Amazing Tour and Tour Guide Nicky - Had an amazing experience with this tour and our tour guide Nicky, Our tour guide was kind accomodation and responsive. She have in depth detailed information about the places which we visited along with do and dont's and also shared about buddist culture and its history. She had a detailed plan for the tour to make it pleasant and hectic free for the tourist and she also shared her mobile number in case we need any help during our stay in Thailand. Would like to highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Ayutthaya.

Engaging Ayutthaya Tour - Tour Guide Nicky took us on a day tour around Ayutthaya and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. She explained the history behind each palace/temple and recommended the most efficient routes at each place to experience it. She was bubbly, friendly and proactive, taking photos for everyone for memories. We were really impressed by her language-switching abilities and she even started speaking Japanese to communicate with the Japanese in the tour group. She’s a great tour guide and her positive reviews surely reflect that. We are also glad that we chose to go on the earlier tour which covers more historical locations compared to the later tour. Ayutthaya is a magnificent ancient civilisation and the ruins are marvellous and full of history.

Suberb guide! Highly recommended! - My friend and I booked a tour of Ayutthaya with Nicky for August 17, 2023 through Klook. The trip was a walking tour with a bus to bring us to each location. The cost of the tour was affordable and very competitive for its price point (around THB 1,168 only per person) as the tour takes 10 hours to complete and involves 6 locations and the fees for the tour guide and bus. Overall, we were very much satisfied with the trip and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Ayutthaya. The trip also turned out the way it was advertised on Klook. No hidden surprises and false advertisements. We were pleased to receive details of the schedule and logistics of our trip as well as Nicky's contact details and photo ahead of the trip and were surprised to find out that there was even a smartphone app to track her location in case we had difficulty in finding her at the meet-up location. Nicky arrived early at the meet-up and was a superb guide throughout the trip. Our group consisted of English, Mandarin, and Japanese speakers. She was proficient in the first two and had conversational-level fluency in the last. She also had a pleasing personality and was easy to approach. For each site we went to, she gave us the history, what to expect, interesting facts, and the dos and don'ts as a tourist while we were on the way to each location. Once we arrived, we paid the ticket fees and roamed the place by ourselves while keeping Nicky's advice in mind. It was my first time doing a tour this way as I was used to having a tour guide collect and pay everyone's ticket fees and offer the explanations while touring a place with us. I ended up liking Nicky's approach better because it allowed us to back out in case we didn't want to go and pay for a particular site plus it gave us the freedom to look around and spend time in the way we prefer. Each site was also easy to navigate. Nicky gave us sufficient time to roam each place and assisted us with taking pictures. She also took pictures of the entire group, which she shared immediately through Whatsapp, our online communication channel, and again through email a few days after. She also gave us regular updates through Whatsapp so that everyone was mindful of the time. We also liked that she reserved tables for us at an airconditioned local restaurant for lunch - very handy considering the summer heat. We were not required to eat there if we didn't like to of course. Time-wise, we met-up at the city center at 8 AM (there was only one meet-up location, just a short walk away from BTS Asok Station, which was better than having multiple locations that could cause delays in departure). Travel time to and from Ayutthaya took 1.5 hours each way. We ended up arriving at Robinsons Mall (near Jodd Fair), our drop-off point, at 6 PM.

Love the Ayuthaya Tour - Tour guide Nicky was very skilled, using trilingual commentary (Chinese, English, Japanese) in rotation. You could also tell that her throat was quite uncomfortable. I suggest that MYPROGUIDE not treat the guides this way. It's also evident that Japanese isn't a language Nicky is very familiar with; she needed to refer to the translated Japanese in her notebook for explanations. The introduction in both Chinese and English was very comprehensive and interesting. The shchefule went smoothly, with the route flowing well. We spent about an hour at Bang Pa-In Palace, and around 30 minutes at each of the other temples.
