If you thought Thailand. Was picture perfect before, you should go in this trip - A beautiful day spent in the water. Our guide was lovely and showed us some of the amazing scenery Thailand has to offer. It was like looking at a magazine. We visited four islands. The first, Hong Island gave us the opportunity to snorkel and see some pretty fish. We the. Visited 3 more islands and swam in the sea. From the picture perfect bays. All islands were close together but felt completely different. Great photo opportunities. The tour operator was booked from the high street in Krabi and the boat was pretty with a very pleasant sailor. Would recommend this trip.

You don't want to miss this place- it's a must see!! - Absolutely loved this trip to Khao Sok! I debated about taking a whole day away from Krabi and the beach, but I am so glad I did. Our guide was so amazing- giving us history of how this lake was formed and since he lives in the jungle he gave a lot of extra fun facts on the jungle walk portion and took time showing us all the special gems of the cave we went to. So knowledgeable, thoughtful and really showed his enjoyment for his job. I have done a lot of hiking around the world, I love to be in the mountains and this was so amazing in that it was like we were in the mountains. Seeing the towering limestone formations in front of you and layering in the distance, it was like none other and just magical and gorgeous. Pictures do not do it justice

Breathtaking Tour - This was our favourite tour we did in Thailand. Khao Sok is breathtaking. Pictures just can't do it justice. Our guide, Audi was funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about teaching us about his culture and ancestors. We were well fed and didn't find any parts of the day too crowded or rushed. Our only complaint was the length of time spent at the lunch/swimming spot was a bit too long and there were limited seating options in the shade.

The views are amazing!! - Definitely worth the drive from Krabi. Very well organized trip even provided lights for the cave. The lake is awesome and pictures do not do it justice. We did a jungle tour and the guide was very informative and explained how to survive in the rainforest. Had lunch after that and had a relaxing time of swimming and kayaking all at no charge. Water was refreshing but not too cold.

Beautiful scenery all arounf - The lake is so beautiful… reminded me of the Canadian Rockies. Did not give a 5 star because I think that safety standards are a bit too low. At times we had to jump on and off the boat. Also the trek in the jungle, although quite short, was very fast paced. We did not have time to take in the peaceful atmosphere or take some photos. The guide did not care that we were an older couple in our fifties and just kept going even in steep places. Otherwise the views are fabulous.

Price not adequate to experience - The park itself is beautiful and worth visiting. However the price of $100 offered by this provider is double the maximum price that I would rate this activity. Also, the food was of a terrible quality, didnt stand near what Thai people have to offer. A quick stroll in a jungle, cave and canoeing were a nice addition to overall beauty of the park. The guide had a very friendly attitutde and did tell us a lot about the nature.

Spend most of the time moving around than doing things. - The lake is nice, but in the trip you spend 4h in the van and another 3-4 on the boat. At the lake, you visit a cave for 15 minutes, go for a hike in the nature for 30 minutes and spend 2.5h at the restaurant. You can swim or take a canoe, but you won’t have a guide with you and the close proximity does not look so good. The park looks like it would have nicer places to see but you do not go there. While they say that they give water and refreshments, you do not receive anything in the first 2h bus drive or in the first part of the boat. You only get one water and one juice (except for the water at the restaurant). The food at the restaurant was enough, but kind of tasteless except for the very fried/oily taste. The guide and the crew were not very professional and looked extremely tired and not in the mood to do the tour. Also they were very young and I would bot be surprised if most of them were under 18. You get very few explanations and only in the cave and the jungle. No information about the park was received. I would recommend to go independently instead of taking the tour as we feel it did not worth the money.

Beautiful Scenery, Average Tour… Not Worth the Money! - I booked onto the 1 day tour as the 2 day overnight stays were all sold out and to be honest I was disappointed. While Khao Sok is undeniably beautiful, the parts you visit are hugely overcrowded and the stops are very short. We stopped in a cave for only a few moments and couldn’t really hear the information from the guide due to it being so busy. The jungle stop was interesting but again there were a lot of other tour groups around us and there was absolutely not a ‘hike’ of any sort as we barely walked anywhere but just stood and listened to the guide’s information on about the jungle. The lunch stop was poorly organised, with not enough food provided. We were told the food would be replenished but the staff were inattentive and unavailable and our guide also disappeared at this point. You are also very limited on time at this stop and have to eat, swim and kayak in only 1.5 hours. You are only allowed to swim in one tiny section of the lake where all the other tour groups are and you have to wear a life jacket which is a park rule but seems pretty unreasonable! I would’ve liked to have kayaked on the lake but there were only a handful of these available and they were all being used so it wasn’t really an option as we ran out of time. Our group was also mostly couples and families so wasn’t ideal for me as a solo traveller. Bottom line for me is that the whole trip felt pretty rushed, overcrowded and I would say it is way overpriced and not worth the money.

Absolutely avoid! - A waste of money and time! - 1.5 hours by mini-van from where all the hotels/hotels/bungalows are located. - Then we arrive at the lake pier where hundreds of tourists have gathered and form groups of around fifteen people to get on the boats. - After spending 1h30 in the van, we spend 1h on the boat which slows down here and there to take photos before setting off again. - The boat disembarks us on a bank to do a "jungle trail" consisting of walking 10 minutes in the jungle in a circle to see... A tree! Tree in front of which our guide said "You have 5 minutes to take photos, you can stand there, it's good for photos". After these few minutes of finally using our legs... Back on the boat! - The boat then lands us on an artificial floating village for tourists where ALL boats stop to eat at midday. There we eat and then our guide tells us that we have two hours to swim and kayak. - Swimming must be MANDATORY in the small space reserved for this purpose AND ALWAYS with your life jacket with missing straps at the risk of being reprimanded by the supervisors. - There are not enough kayaks for everyone. - If you don't want to stay 2 hours in the water or 2 hours under the sun in a kayak you can also... Wait sitting on the ground with dozens of other people. - After these two hours wondering if we weren't being made fun of, it's time to get back on the boat to go for a short 10-minute tour in a cave in which the groups follow one another. - Then, we go back on the boat one last time for 45 minutes, return to the starting point then set off again for 1h30 in the mini-van. In short... Catastrophic activity, don't waste a day there.
