• Matangeshwara Temple - The meeting point will be at the main entrance of the Western group of temples. The day will begin with positive thoughts and good vibes, followed by a special experience exploring the town. The first stop will be the Matangeswara Mahadev temple, an active temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
• Khajuraho Temples - After visiting the Matangeswara temple, the journey will continue towards the Western group of temples, the main temple site in the town, consisting of 11 temples. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers a chance to explore the architecture, history, and many lesser-known aspects of Indian culture and tradition. These temples are unique from a spiritual perspective. The most renowned ones include “Laxmana Temple,” “Kandariya Mahadev Temple,” known for its exemplary architecture, “Devi Jagadamba Temple,” “Chirtagupta Temple,” and “Vishwanath Temple,” among others.
• Adinath Temple - Following the Western group of temples, the next destination is the Adinath temple, a stunning Jain temple. Here, the exploration of Jain religious sites will continue, including the Adinath temple, Shantinath temple, and Parsvanath temple.
• Khajuraho - At the end of the temple visits, the tour will conclude with a visit to the old village of Khajuraho. This part of the tour offers an opportunity to explore the oldest part of the town and engage with locals to learn about their culture and lifestyle. The aim is to showcase the other side of India’s beauty: its authentic culture, local life, picturesque villages, and landscapes. This approach allows visitors to experience India in its purest form and gain a deeper understanding of what lies beyond the beautiful monuments and temples, rather than just observing them.
