Excellent tour, highly recommend!!! - This was our first visit to Key West and we highly recommend this tour! A.J. is such a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun tour guide! We learned so much about the history of Key West - he covered a myriad of topics, from architecture to religion to military history to environmental issues. This tour definitely has something for everyone - we particularly enjoyed learning about KW’s colorful political history and touring a few famous bars. Who knew we would have the opportunity to visit KW’s only surviving cigar factory and watch cigars being rolled by hand? And that the author Judy Blume owns a bookstore in town? We walked and talked for 2 hours - and it went by quickly because we saw and did so much! Note that this tour may be best for teens and adults.

Teacher-Tour Guide - Just an excellent guide for our Historic District walking tour. His name was AJ and he was just so well informed, really knew the history and did an excellent job of sharing his info. He had pictures on his iPad so we got both visual and verbal info. I have had few tour guides as good as he was. I would certainly go on more Walking Tours if he was the guide. Both me and my husband were very impressed with him. He took us to different sections of town to show us the creation of what is now Key West.

Highly recommend - AJ was a fabulous tour guide that took us through a walking tour of neighborhoods and history. From Bahamanian to Cuban, Ponce de Leon and the islands beginnings, trades, economic development and cultures, we all learned a great deal. Visiting the Cuban cigar making, Cuban history and influence at the museum, we also learned about the types of architecture and it was so interesting. I love all the chickens and roosters roaming around! AJ made it all fun. Recommend highly!!!

Try Something Different in Key West - We go on walking tours in almost every city we visit. We live in FL and have been to Key West many times, but have never done a guided walking tour. We took the tour with AJ and it was great. The group was small and he was very accommodating even to latecomers who joined us mid-tour. He has lived in KW for 20+ years and knows a lot of history. He took us through neighborhoods, to famous landmarks and even through an old historical bar with ghost stories. It was great FUN! We highly recommend it for something different to do in Key West.
