Our tour was with Lathan (hope I got his name right!) He seemed to get a little nervous at times and could work on his storytelling, but he was knowledgeable and you can tell he likes the history. The tour was a littlw longer than expected, which isn't bad, because we learned lots of things we didn't know and saw some new things to explore. He was super accommodating and took care of everyone as far as safety and personal needs. I would recommend him and this tour. A good time! Thanks

Our tour guide was awesome. Loved how his stories were intertwined. He was absolutely great and had researched his stories with archived sources, not just hearsay.

Having been on several tours in various locations over the years, the experience is made by the host. Overall this KW tour was a positive experience but our guide was not a natural story teller and the stories felt clunky and rehearsed vs. flowing as sharing a well known tale.

We did have a rather large group, which was fine, but our guide was pretty wishy washy, and even himself said he didn’t really believe all of it. We had 3 stops and basically stood at each spot for 30 minutes while he talked and haphazardly showed us pictures without giving a whole lot of context. I was really hoping for more spooky

The tour guide, Layton, was not a good story teller and didn't seem to actually believe anything he was saying. It was not engaging and not in the least bit frightening. It was a major disappointment overall. Our guide was unable to answer follow up questions we asked regarding the stories and characters and didn't seem to actually have experience. Saying things like, "I've heard" and "I've been told" regarding things like seeing the Robert the Doll in the museum or going into the church's courtyard during the day. He has only been in this area for 2 years and doesn't know the lore directly. He just memorized a script and then did a mediocre job playing it back to us during the tour. He was a nice enough guy but his personality just doesn't seem to be a fit for this job. It felt awkward as he tried to connect with folks and jokes seemed forced. I've been on a lot of walking tours and a ghost walking tour before and this was nowhere near the typical level of satisfaction I have. Even "free" walking tours typically have much more engaging guides.

The stories were not worth the cost, and we specifically took the adult tour because it said it was more scary than the other one. The guide was friendly and personable, he did his best it's just the materials weren't there for him to make it horrifying.
