Soak up the sun as the boat leaves the dock on its way to wind through Key West’s backcountry. Snorkel shallow, translucent waters with soft, sandy bottoms where spiny sea urchins mingle with conch shells and sea sponges. Don’t be surprised if some of the decidedly larger marine life make an appearance like the Goliath grouper, stingrays, and several tropical fish species. Along the way, our onboard naturalists will share their knowledge of the area and its indigenous wildlife with you. Be on the lookout for our most playful residents, the friendly bottlenose dolphins and curious sea turtles.
Enjoy a delicious lunch as we make our way to a natural sandbar where you can sink your toes into the warm sand of the shallow waters, sip a frosty beverage or enjoy some exciting water activities! Grab a kayak and explore the clear waters on a guided tour through the mangroves. If you’ve never kayaked before, the Fury crew will provide instruction for an easy paddle in no time. Unearth a hidden aspect of Key West on this Island Adventure, as you journey to an elusive utopia in Florida Keys’ backcountry. Nestled amid mangrove islets, shallow sandbanks, and tranquil turquoise waters, we take you to an undisturbed haven typically privileged to the locals of Key West. Choose your pleasure: Snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply basking under the warm sun on a sandbar, while relishing the cool sea breeze.
- Guests must arrive 30 minutes prior to departure
- What to Bring: Valid, Government Issued Photo I.D., Towel, Sunscreen, Bathing Suit
- Sun Protective Clothing (ie. Hats & Sun Shirts), Water Shoes or Waterproof Sandals
- Cash for Gratuities (Customary)
- FURY WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH SNORKEL INSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT, BUT YOU MUST KNOW WHOW TO SWIM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY SNORKEL ADVENTURE.
- Guests 17 and younger must have an adult chaperone at check in to sign waivers

The Island Adventure Tour - Jude and Dana were amazing on our trip. They provided us with all the information and resources we need led to have a fabulous time. Our experience with Fury adventures have been above and beyond in this trip. I highly recommend them if you are planning to visit Key West.

Captain Jude is the man - Captain Jude was amazing and made this experience top tier. Knowledgeable and fun experience. Food was plentiful along with all different drinks. Don’t have one negative about it.

30th birthday celebration - We booked this sunset island adventure with the help of our concierge and we could not have been happier. We celebrated my wife’s 30th birthday cruising around with Captain Jude and Dustin. The boat was clean, the food was great, and the beers were cold. Jude and Dustin were amazingly kind and knowledgeable about everything. There were about 20 other guests and we had a blast. 10/10 would book again

Will do it again! - This trip exceded our expectations. If you’re a beginner/intermediate experienced snorkeling person this is right for you. The kayaking was great with awesome views and a skilled instructor. The sandbar part was amazing. It was relaxing and exciting all at once. We did the afternoon trip and could catch the sunset while looking at some dolphins. Captain Zane and Preston were so helpful, skilled and knowledgeable. They made this trip an unforgettable experience!

Our second fury trip and can’t wait to go again! - Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our time on this trip! We were fortunate enough to have captain Jude and captain Dustin and it was such an exceptional experience for us and our young kids. We also took this trip last year with captain Jude and our kids talked about that experience nonstop, so when they saw he was our captain again this year it made the trip that much more special! Captain Dustin was so knowledgeable and helpful with all the activities, and they made sure everyone on the boat was well taken care of. They are both great with kids, but also make time to talk to everybody on the trip. We took a similar trip on a different key with a different company and there’s no comparison to how amazing this one is. I would say it’s worth the drive if you’re not on Key West. We can’t wait to come back next trip!

Excellent ECO Adventure - We had a blast on the ISLAND ADVENTURE ECO TOUR. Capts. Zane (3.4), Todd (newbie), Matthew (Moondog) were outstanding hosts. Their knowledge of the mangroves, sea life, and grasses was exceptional. You can tell these guys really love what they’re doing. Always felt safe, secure, and they were very attentive to all needs and wishes. All had a blast and even rescued a pelican in distress. BTW any report on Walter? Will definitely do this trip again and be requesting the best crew.

Girls Rule - This wasn’t my first trip with Fury and wont be my last. We were in town celebrating my mother retiring. This time around we went out with Amanda and Liv and had an awesome time on the Eco Adventure Tour. It was too windy to kayak so they searched out some dolphins for us to check out on the way to our snorkel destination. They were professional, funny, and easy going. Once at the sandbar, Liv went out and searched for treasures in the grass to share with the group. She ended up finding a cool urchin for us to handle and check out! We explored, we drank, and we laughed….a lot. Bravo chicas!

Fun and knowledgeable crew all in one! - Matthew, Zane, and training captain Todd clearly love what they do! They are loads of fun and very knowledgeable about the ecosystem! They also actually aid in wildlife rescue if they find injured animals during excursions, and safely transport them to local wildlife rescues immediately following the trip.

Great time and beautiful views. - Matthew and Ashley were awesome! We went not knowing what to expect. My husband and I never snorkeled before. It was perfect. Relaxing and very enjoyable!! We got to see some creatures while Kayaking. Ashley was really knowledgeable about everything. Captain Matthew was very chill and has a great vibe. On the way back we had a beautiful sunset accompanied by a visit by dolphins.
Highly recommend this excursion.

Deception - The description we were given by the sales guy wasn’t accurate at all. The pictures show that you go to an island and can sit on the beach but that didn’t happen at all! The snorkeling was not nice!! For the price of this trip wasn’t worth what you get or see!
