Florida’s Barrier Reef is right off the coast of Key West. We only provide this trip during a limited time, June through September, because we want to snorkel the reef when the weather is just right. Explore the wondrous wildlife of the reef with one of our biologists. It truly is one of the most beautiful places you need to see while in the keys.

I am on a mission to spread the value of conservation and I think amazing nature experiences with a knowledgeable biologist is the best way to do that! But sometimes all you need to do to appreciate nature is go sailing and watch a sunset!

On Honest Eco trips, we always accommodate small units. Our journey to the reef takes place only when the visibility conditions are optimal, restricting the voyage only between May and September. This timeframe is ideal in providing serene, clear waters in the keys. It’s the perfect period to witness the incredible range of ecosystems and wildlife inhabiting our reef, which is a short sail from Key West.
A distinctive aspect of our trip is the accompaniment of a biologist guide. Not only will they join you in the water, but they will also guide you through or allow you to explore independently, always available for a consultation back on the boat.
Our boat is a spacious, comfortable catamaran that is a joy to sail. It boasts over 1000 square feet of deck space for you to spread out and relish.
