Your adrenalin will be pumping when you captain a four- or six-passenger Zodiac, a rigid-hulled inflatable boat offering speed and agility. The adventure begins with a tour by van through historic downtown Ketchikan. Look out the windows as your scenic drive travels past totem poles, Saxman Native Village, and the beautiful coastline of the Tongass…

The adventure begins with a tour by van through historic downtown Ketchikan. Look out the windows as your scenic drive travels past totem poles, Saxman Native Village, and the beautiful coastline of the Tongass Narrows to the Beaver Falls Salmon Cannery. Upon arrival, breathe in the fresh air as you walk the mystical rainforest trail to the Zodiac. After a safety briefing, you’ll bundle up in rain gear, rubber boots and a life jacket, step inside the sturdy Zodiac and follow your guide out to the beautiful George Inlet Fjords. Soak up the pristine scenery, and marvel at the rich wildlife. After cruising for 90 minutes, you’ll return to the cannery for a complimentary flight of 49th state craft beers or sodas and a snack!

AMAZING! - THANK YOU EMILY! The up close and personal experience we encountered with the Bald Eagles is truly one of the most magnificent things we could have ever dreamt of, all thanks to Emily! Highly recommend this once in a lifetime excursion! For reference, we booked through Princess Cruises.

Wilderness Adventure on Odyssey Boats - This was an amazing adventure starting with on time pick up for 30 minute drive to old cannery and starting point.
Jayden , our excursion guide , met our van and during our short 10 minute walk to the start point he pointed out lots of info about the native trees and fauna.
We all completed quick intro and safety overview and we all were assigned our own Zodiac’s. Jayden led us on about 1 1/2 hour
boat excursion in the bay ( part of Pacific)
He has relationship with two Eagle “couples”
when we nested their nesting area he signaled to Walter and later Harold !! Both times these beautiful eagles flew out and took fish he had brought. That’s super cool. I was able to record amazing video and also photos.
This was an incredible excursion and if you are considering this…just do it. We had great weather - 62o some blue skies and no rain !

True Ketchikan Adventure - Drive your own boat out in rural Alaska?! And have a tasty snack and Beverages!? Heck yeah I’m down, This was a fun trip! Emily and Emily both took great care of me and made sure that I got to see amazing sites, and local animals❤️❤️

Fun ride, amazing route, many eagles, a bear, scenic view, amazing guide, 10/10 - So many eagles, there were about 6 or 7 eagles all on one spot. Jaden did an amazing job, especially with feeding one of the eagles, and the ride back was rough and amazing. We saw a bear, and the drinks and cheese and reindeer sausage at the end was great! 10/10

The Lodge at Finn Island, the food, the people made for an outstanding experience - Our guides Jesse & Nichole were awesome. Young energetic and very knowledgeable. They made it fun and safe without tons of rules and restrictions. The staff at the lodge was 100% plus professional. The food was exquisite. It was our best excursion on our trip. We did see lots of wildlife and enjoyed our day immensely

Super unique tour - This tour was super-unique and we absolutely loved it. We didn’t know what to expect, but it’s a thrill to get to drive your own zodiac around pristine water with spectacular views. We saw harbor seals on the move and eagles swoop overhead! Jaden did an excellent job leading our group on the water and telling us about the local wildlife. The whole experience was perfectly uncruise-like…getting to be on the water in a remote rainforest. Even the ending was perfect. Beer flights for the adults and spruce-tip soda flights for our kids.

Wilderness wonder- one of a kind - The zodiac tour was simply spectacular!! As per our last adventure Vue trip, the staff and guides met us on arrival and they are outstanding!!! Emily was so knowledgeable about the area and it history, as well as all of the wildlife and cultural flavor in the region.
The zodiacs were in perfect working order and held our family of four comfortably. Dress warmly the winds are cool and if it’s raining it will feel even colder at high speeds. This was my favorite wilderness experience in this trip as you really feel the immensity of the landscape out there in your little zodiac with no houses roads or people visible. Wow this landscape is powerful!! We saw seals, including baby pups! Also saw eagles flying close ! A view of Mahoney Falls capped off the trip. I had never driven a zodiac, yet felt completely comfortable and safe with this excursion. Truly unforgetable! The snacks and flights upon arrival back at the dock was an excellent way to end the day. If only the bar stayed open we would have hung out there at the cannery for a few more drinks! The kids were thrilled with the soda flights- you really thought of every detail. Thank you!! Don’t hesitate or look further this is THE trip you should take

Scared to death - We got on the boat and all the workers seemed a bit focused on videoing us not safety. The water was a bit choppy and at the first stop to see some sea-lions the leader in the first boat said I am keeping an eye on this storm coming in but let’s continue. By now we are across the bay and the choppy water really is picking up. He tells the group now is the time to switch drivers if you want and even lets someone in his boat drive. The waves have really picked up and his boat takes off and leaves the rest of us behind. At that point I have to call on the walkie-talkie for them to slow down because they are leaving all the other boats in a storm. We finally make it back. Many of us were scared and sore afterward. The worker walked around and told us sorry and that they should have canceled it. I would NEVER recommend this co or excursion to anyone.
We felt so unsafe!!!
