Top rate and a reservoir of knowledge and experience - Fantastic! To accompany the unparalleled wilderness, Teague was a gem. He was personable, friendly, and attentive. Above that, though, Teague was extremely informed and knowledgeable. Of all the excursions we took on our trip -- many -- we learned the most from Teague. And that's a tall order, for generally speaking, the Alaskan guides were top rate. It was clear that this is a work of passion for Teague, who loves the area and his involvement in it. We took this tour on a day when Ketchikan had 4" of rain! That is, it was pouring. This did not detract from the experience at all, and Teague was accommodating and helpful in navigating the mudpuddles.

A MAGICAL TOUR OF A MAGICAL PLACE! - What a wonderful experience this was! Me and my husband were planning on hiking. My husband was unable to go, however, so I decided to show up alone. I was greeted by a new guide, Jeff. I had my own private tour with him.He was very funny, friendly, caring, most importantly, very knowledgeable about the wild life in forests. It was a rainy day, yet, i forgot all about the weather. The place was absolutely beautiful, I had so much fun. I was so grateful to have Jeff as my guide, he’s the best!!!! I highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience wild Alaska with a guide as knowledgeable and as wonderful. Thank you, Jeff.

Old Growth forest trek, historical perspective and current status of logging and its impact - Teague was the perfect guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful, helpful. We did a hike through the old growth area, and Teague gave us a good sense of history and of current ecological concerns. This was probably our best tour ( and we did lots!)
