Highly Recommend! - This fishing trip was amazing! The boat ride out to the fishing spot was very beautiful and once we were settled, we saw some whales and even had a bald eagle pay us a visit! Hunter was an amazing captain, we caught 3 halibut and even when the biting was slow, Hunter kept us in high spirits - he is super friendly and knowledgeable!

Outstanding Service - Hunter did an absolute amazing job start to finish. Polite, super knowledgeable and we caught lots of fish. Nice comfortable, well maintained boats.

Excellent experience! - Fantastic time! It was just my husband and I and our charter captain! The captain was great! Caught 2 halibut off the rip and then even some rock fish and salmon but it isn’t in season yet so we couldn’t keep those! The shuttle was quick and easy! Tammy texted us the morning of to let us know where to look for her and then at the end dropped us off right at our ship! Definitely recommend this excursion!

Great time - Had a great time fishing with Oasis Charters. Everything was top notch from JoAnn picking us up at the cruise dock to the great day of fishing with Hunter. I highly recommend.

Job Well Done-Real Pro's. - Everything was GREAT. Before we ever got off our ship (we were on a cruise) to take the charter, the communication was excellent. The trip from the port to their marina was about 20 minutes or so. The marina was very nice. It had a place to grab a quick bite, a bathroom and a nice shop. We were introduced to our captain, Capt. Drew. He was great. The boat was clean, safe and appeared dependable. The 1/2 day trip was fine as the fishing grounds weren't far away. They used Shimano and Penn Reels that appeared to be maintained properly. Their lures were clean and hooks were sharp. They didn't look to cut corners anywhere to save a few dollars. Capt. Drew was great, not only was he experienced and knew where the fish would be, but he was very knowledgeable about the surrounding land and area and at times acted like a tour guide. Yes, we caught fish; actually we limited out pretty quickly. I would highly recommend OASIS Alaska Charters...and this is coming from an Actual Charter Captain myself!

Had a great time - Had a great time. Guide(Josh) was patient and very informative. Josh was able to put us in just the right spot so that me and my son were able to both catch Halibut.

Good captain - I am kind of hesitant to write a review. The captain was good and the boats are great and the gear is fine. I understand that some days the fishing is not fantastic and weather can play a part that is out of control. It was a windy day so they couldn’t take us out to the halibut grounds they wanted to so we fished for them in an area our captain said he hadn’t finished before. The fishing was slow so it ended up being a $1200 boat ride for a 7 lb halibut. I kinda wish they had canceled our trip if the weather is such that they can’t get you to productive water. The captain did his best but I do wish they had been more realistic about what to expect and canceled our trip.

No real effort - Captain and van driver were very nice. But we paid for a 4 hrs fishing and only got 2.5 hrs. The van driver picked us up at 1123 knowing our ship leaves at 430. It’s a 30-35 min drive to fishing boats from cruise port. Once we got to our boat we waited another 10 mi. For our captain, the other charter packed and left and apparently took the better fishing spot. After 1.5 hrs had to request the captain move to another spot. I’m a seasoned fisherman not a novice who was looking to catch my first any kind fish! I was expecting a better effort from captain and van driver. Problem with tourist charters they know you are leaving on a cruise never to return. Typical tourist trap, not worth $1,600

Waste of time and money. - The staff as well as the Captain were very helpful and pleasant. We were picked up a little later than expected and didn’t leave the dock until 12:15. Out charter had to leave an hour early to make the ship and there was no consideration given to the cost. Our boat captain took us out too a place he had never fished and said he wanted to try it out. When nothing was happening he took us to another spot that he said he always wanted to fish but never had. If he is a professional than way try spots with paying client that never have been tried. For my group it was a huge disappointment and waste of money.
