Local Business Worth Supporting - Aaron was a terrific guide who shared a local’s perspective on growing up in the area with good humor and lots of in-depth information. On our to we saw lots of eagles and harbor seals but also learned about the plant ecosystems.

Inclement weather still great tour. - Ketchikan had a severe weather alert but our tour guide Kaitlin was right on time. She provided us with information about the city and accompanied us outside when we made stops. She went down to the shore and brought back several starfish in various colors to touch and see. Then it was off to see the bears. After several tries to view them, and she knows where they normally are we headed off the a magnificent falls. Not willing to give up we went back to where bears usually frequent but the storms disrupted their usual routines. Then we headed into town. Although we didn’t see any bears we had a great time and it was a private tour at a great value. We would recommend them if you are looking for a smaller group adventure.

Would absolutely do this again! - We loved this very personal experience from Kylie who is local with lots of historical knowledge and personal stories. At the time we went we didn't see bears but she made the trip interesting and even returned to the area to see if they had appeared. The beach walk was fun, we saw lots of rockpool activity and she made every effort to show us as much as possible.

SUPER TIME - We took a lot of pictures. Was hoping we would have had a little more time to see more but time allocation by Holland America didn’t allow. Great talking with drive of van. Would have enjoyed additional water falls

Awesome Sightseeing Excursion - Kristen was very knowledgeable! She's lived there her whole life and able to tell you all about the life there! She spotted eagles for us and took us to Rotary Beach to see lots of living things there. .. starfish, anenome, etc. It was so interesting! We also went to see the waterfall and even looked for bear.. eventhough, we knew it might be a little early to see them. We really enjoyed this excursion because it was 1 1/2 hours, which left us time to see the rest of the area. Kristen gave us snacks and water to enjoy as we were sightseeing!

Caitlin is a wonderful local guide! - Caitlin picked us up early, and her blue hightop van was very easy to find. Quick drive out of town, and she was open to stop for any Wildlife, we saw quite a few Bald Eagles on this trip, no whales sightings and unfortunately no bears were at the bear bridge (May, too early) but I can only imagine in July and later, it must be amazing sight. The Steller's Jay there were plentiful and gorgeous birds. The sealife beach stop was really nice too, just wear good shoes, no flip flops or sandals as the beaches are rocky and some stops were slimy. Waterfall was very handicap accessible especially for some great pictures. Compared to shore excursions prices, this was very reasonable! **side note, We were very comfortable with her driving skills, too.

Nice drive with a local guide - We had a nice drive with Katlyn to a beach, a waterfall, an area where eagles are common (we saw four or five), and an area where a black bear often shows up -- and he did. Nothing earth shattering -- although the bear was cool -- but a very pleasant tour.

Beautiful scenery - Great van and guide (Kaitlyn) but no real wildlife spotted. Not their fault, I'm sure. Beautiful waterfall and snacks.
