Best tour ever!! - Seriously the best tour ever. Shane was the best tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and gave us so much information on Alaska that we didn’t know. Some of the people had gone on a tour specifically to see bears and did not see any. Shane went out of his way to find bears. We ended up seeing tons of bears, eagles, salmon, seals, otters, etc. So awesome! I would give this tour a million stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ava shows us Ketchikan! A true guide in every sense of the word - This was a wonderful tour! We had Norwegian so docked at Ward Cove. It may be helpful to note to meet at Berth 2 specifically for ‘Ketchikan Cruise Docks’ but when I called from Berth 3 it was an easy walk. The tour ran about 20 minutes over but our awesome guide Ava first asked if that was ok for the whole group. We started first in town with the salmon ladder and paused at the spawning creek. Ava had so much knowledge about the importance of fishing to locals. We also went to see a waterfall and a beach area with a TON of bald eagles, a raven and sometimes bear though we did not see any that day. We went to the Saxman Native village and looked at Totem Poles and learned about the Bear Clan Lodge. She had so much information to share. My favorite was Bugge Beach/Rotary Beach at low tide. We learned about a lot of plant life and so many sea creatures that locals will eat that never thought of as ‘seafood’ - jellyfish, barnacles, lady slippers. It was an amazing experience and she is such a steward of the environment with respect for the land. This was a wonderful tour! It did not match the exact description on Viator where we booked so might look into that? No Bight or Potlatch included but what was was equal to or better :)

Ketchikan All in One - We had an unforgettable experience with Seaside Tours in Ketchikan! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, well-organized, and welcoming. Our tour guide, Eva, was absolutely fantastic — super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and full of fun facts about Ketchikan, the local wildlife, and native culture. She had a great sense of humor and really made the experience feel personal and engaging. We saw eagles, stunning coastal views, and even caught glimpses of local marine life — all while learning so much along the way. Eva’s passion for the area truly came through and made the tour even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Seaside Tours if you’re visiting Ketchikan — and if you get Eva as your guide, you’re in for a treat!

Fantastic Outdoor Adventure! - Shane, our guide from Seaside Tours, was very personable and gave a wonderful tour. We enjoyed an abundance of wildlife (Bears, Eagles, Tide Pools), a waterfall, and a visit to Bight Totem park. At each stop, Shane gave colorful commentary and was very informative. Shane was extremely accommodating and let our group guide how long we stayed at each location. Shane gave a fantastic tour with a personal touch that made it unforgettable!!! We would strongly recommend this tour with a true "Alaskan" guide! Ten Stars!!!

Very happy with this tour! - This is a very good small-group tour. Only 6 of us! Tour guide was a local resident so he was able to tell us lot about Ketchikan and it’s residents. He really tried to find bears for us but we were unlucky. He was also very knowledgeable about the totems.

No forgiveness given - I am not reviewing the actual tour, but an experience I had with Seaside Tours. I had booked the "Ketchikan 4 in 1" Tour. I arrived by cruise ship and arrived at the meeting point early. The tour representative asked for my name, but couldn't find it on his list. We learned that by my own mistake, I had shown up on the wrong day...a Thursday instead of Tuesday. They told me if I had contacted them two days earlier, they would have made an exception. But naturally, I didn't because I hadn't realized that I had made the mistake until that morning! So, they said I couldn't go. I could understand that if the tour van going was FULL and they didn't have room, but there were only two other people going on the tour that day, and they had PLENTY of room. I just think it would have been good customer service and a good will gesture to let us board the van and go on the excursion, especially since we had already PAID for it! Just sayin.'

Pour. I was left without explanation - Your tour guide sent me a text on July 3 at 7:30pm. Asking to change my excursion to 8:00am on July 4, I replied that my ship NCL Joy arrived at 8;00am. That was impossible for me to get there at 8:00am. She never responded to me.I order for me experience Ketchikan, I took another tour, that cost me extra money. When booking the tour, I said I was on a cruise. That's why I picked 10:30am. My ship arrives at 8:00am. Which will give me enough time to get to the meeting point.
