Tour of a lifetime - It’s not an exaggeration to say that this incredible day we spent with Mossie was THE HIGHLIGHT of our entire wonderful week in Ireland. He took us to hidden gems we never would have had been able to see without him. His wealth of knowledge was only matched by his sense of humor and the passion he shares with his guests. We were entertained, fascinated, touched, and amazed by the experiences he related, the places he took us, and the scenery around us. His own memories lent a personal touch that we treasured and will never forget. Please be sure you include Mossie’s Tours in your trip to Ireland. There simply is no one better. Chef’s kiss.

Highlight of our trip! - The highlight of our wonderful trip to Ireland! Mossie knows everything about the area (geographically, historically, etc) and is very engaging and a great storyteller. Make sure he tells you about his own upbringing on a farm in the area. An extra kindness: I realized about an hour after our tour ended that I had left a shirt in the van. Mossie was kind enough to deliver it to us at the pub where we were having post-tour pints!

Wonderful day trip in the Dingle Peninsula Gaeltacht - My wife, daughter, and I did a full day trip with Helen as our guide on the Dingle Peninsula this past July. Helen was a fabulous guide. She is a safe, concientious driver and she kindly picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Brandon. We wanted to see the captivating views on the coast, walk on a beach, and see some historical and archaeological sites, as well as visit the Blasket Centre museum, and we got to do all of that. Helen thoughtfully helped us decide what exactly to do and she was full of interesting information and stories. She was the perfect guide for us. Helen was very good with our daughter, who is 11 years old and loves animals, and helped us ensure that she had a good trip full of interesting adventures. The weather was cloudy and misty with some rain but that was what we were expecting and Helen took us to a sandy beach for a nice stroll during one of the relative dry periods of the day. My family and I are Americans who are proud of our Irish heritage and I'm grateful that Helen taught us so much about this part of Ireland and its natural environment, vibrant Gaeltacht culture, and long history, including how its people were affected by the Great Famine. I highly recommend Helen as a guide for anyone who is interested in a deep, immersive type of experience. I am fluent in Irish and I greatly enjoyed chatting as Gaeilge with Helen, who is a native Irish speaker from this area and a gifted conversationalist in Irish and English. To spend a day exploring this magnificent corner of the world with a kind, erudite local guide such as Helen was a once-in-a-lifetime type of experience for my family and I but we are planning on doing it again the next time we visit Ireland.

Incredible views with extensive historical knowledge - Mossie was an incredible tour guide. Loved having a tour with him as he grew up in the area and his first hand knowledge of the area and history added another level of an already great tour. We saw some incredible views, learned some interesting history and Mossie was one of the best tour guides we have ever had.

AMAZING Slea Head & Dingle Peninsula Tour with Mossie - HIGHLY RECOMMEND the full day private tour of Slea Head and the Dingle Peninsula with Mossie’s Tours! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. In fact we did several tours and wished Mossie had been our guide for all of them! Mossie’s kindness, humor, knowledge, passion, historical insights, and personal stories of growing up and living there made it feel less like a tour and more like exploring the area with a local friend. Mossie tailored the stops to our interests and ensured we saw all the not-to-miss sights like Connor Pass, Coumeenoole Beach, Dun Chaoin Pier, the beehive huts, Gallarus Oratory, and the stunning views of the Irish countryside and coastal vistas along the Wild Atlantic Way. He even shared a few of his favorite hidden gems that we never would have seen on our own like a hike up to a glacial lake with a waterfall that was absolutely breathtaking. Other highlights included enjoying lunch with Mossie at a great local pub (which of course included a Guinness or two), holding a baby sheep, and he even arranged a special sheepdog demonstration that was amazing! More than just a tour, Mossie made this a very special and exceptional experience of a lifetime for our family that we’ll treasure forever.

A wonderful day on the Dingle Peninsula! - We had an incredible cultural tour of the Dingle Peninsula with Mossie, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! Our group of five, ranging from the early 20s to seniors, thoroughly enjoyed the day. Mossie picked us up promptly at 9:30 a.m. from our accommodations and kept us entertained and engaged well past 5 p.m. He has a wealth of knowledge about Dingle’s history, artifacts, and Irish history as a whole, which he shared with enthusiasm and passion. Along the way, he took us to breathtaking sights and fascinating historical sites, while also catering to our individual wishes—whether it was stopping to feed and pet lambs or ensuring we could step foot in the ocean before leaving Ireland. Mossie’s warmth, humour, and expertise made the day unforgettable. I will definitely look him up again when I return to Ireland. Highly recommended!

- We can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Massie. We had two days with him, both of which he picked us up at our location and arrived promptly for us to depart. On our first day with him, our family of 6 (2 and 8 year old boys, my wife and I, and her parents) took off on an 8 hour adventure around the Ring of Kerry. The weather was unfortunately not the best that day and the trip was the same day as a bike race, but Mossie knew the area so well he was able to get us around the heavily trafficked areas of bikers. When driving he was engaging to all of us in the car, giving a history of the area, from its people to its soil, and the impact history has had on its people. He took us to epic views that we peaked through clouds to see and felt like we had experienced them all through Mossie’s descriptions, and he made sure we were well fed with stops at some of the best local fare we’d had and wonderful chocolate. On our second day through the Dingle Peninsula we got the long awaited family photos we’d been hoping for with the perfect Ireland backdrop. Mossie also took my wife and I up with our 8 year old to hike to a hidden lake and that’s the scene from this photo with Mossie and our son. Our fondest memories of this trip though will be getting to know Mossie, him sharing a couple of his songs with us, letting us feel connected to Ireland, and the kindness he shared with us. Can’t recommend him enough!

Two Day Custom Tour with Helen - I'm already hoping for another tour with Helen on my next trip to Ireland! Communication was great from the get-go. I was planning a specialized two day tour that took us from Limerick, Dingle, Tralee and south to Gougane Barra. Helen took my wishes into planning each day including a private tour of a sheep dog demonstration (amazing!) and a stop at a ring fort. Since Helen is from the area, she knew all the places to go and the locals, too! We stopped for a quick lunch overlooking the Blasket Islands where we saw a nearby wedding taking place--it was such a great day! We also visited Killarney National Park including Torc Waterfall and also Muckross Abbey. We went south to a fairy stone circle and lunch in Kenmare. This two day tour was the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Highly recommend!
