• Lake Nakuru National Park - Begin the journey from a designated location in Nairobi and travel along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway (officially known as A104), enjoying breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley.
• Lake Elementaita - Witness Lake Elementaita from a distance, where flamingos come to nest. The lake is also home to the Kekopey hot springs, a site believed to be an ancient passage involved in the historical ivory and slave trades.
• Lake Nakuru - Arrive at Lake Nakuru by 8:30 AM and embark on a morning game drive in a 4X4 Safari Land Cruiser Jeep along the lake shore. The lake is renowned for flamingos that feed on algae on the lake bed, creating a stunning pink spectacle as they move and occasionally take flight. The park also hosts Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, impalas, lions, leopards, pythons, and rhinos, which can be spotted on the drive to Makalia Falls, one of the rivers feeding the lake, and later to Baboon Cliff.
• Makalia Waterfalls - Located at the southern end of Lake Nakuru National Park, this waterfall is along one of the rivers flowing into the lake. It features a 10-meter drop off a sheer cliff into a large plunge pool. It’s one of the few places in the park where visitors can step out of their vehicles.

Makalia Falls offers a spectacular view, with the sight of water cascading from the cliff, accompanied by bird songs and the roar of the falls, creating a delightful scene.

• Baboons & Vervets - This popular viewpoint and lunch spot offers stunning views of the lake, with excellent aerial vistas of the flooded lake shore. However, baboons can be a nuisance, often raiding vehicles for food scraps, regardless of whether people are inside.
• Lake Naivasha - Optional activity. Lake Naivasha is perfect for boating and is a bird lover’s paradise, with expansive open waters, beautiful surrounding scenery, and numerous channels to explore. This tour allows you to see a haven for birds, as well as giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, and hippos along the lake’s shores. To participate, please inform your guide during pick-up.
• Crescent Island Game Park - Optional activity. Crescent Island in Lake Naivasha is a walkable sanctuary where visitors can stroll among giraffes, zebras, hippos, antelopes, wildebeests, and many birds such as goliath herons, spoonbills, and giant kingfishers. It takes about 2 hours to walk around the sanctuary. These animals were brought here for the filming of “Out of Africa” and have since thrived. There are no predators here.
• Rift Valley View Point - Stop at the Rift Valley View Point for a photo session and enjoy a panoramic view of the Valley.

This full-day excursion offers an exciting Safari adventure outside Nairobi, exploring four attractions within the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Nakuru provides a chance to witness the famous flamingos and discover other wildlife such as buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, and baboons. It is renowned globally as a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. Additionally, the park is home to over 400 bird species.

Between the lake and the western cliffs, large pythons reside in the dense woodland and are often seen crossing roads or hanging from trees.

The visit to Lake Naivasha includes a boat safari to spot birds and hippos, followed by a nature walk at the Crescent Sanctuary, allowing close encounters with animals.

The Naivasha boat and Crescent Sanctuary walk are optional activities and are not included as a standard part of the itinerary. Guests interested in participating should inform their guide during pickup.
