Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Depart from your hotel at approximately 6:00 am, traveling along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. Journey to the Taita Hills Game Sanctuary with a brief stop along the way. Arrive at Taita Hills and enjoy a game drive en route to Saltlick Game Lodge for check-in and lunch. After lunch, continue with a game drive until 6:30 pm, then return to Saltlick Game Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary spans an area of 24,000 hectares. Its physical attractions include thorny bushes, acacia forests, arid savannahs, swamps, and the Taita Hills. Wildlife here includes elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species such as ostriches, hornbills, guinea fowls, kingfishers, and weaver birds.

Mombasa - Rise at around 5:30 am, enjoy a cup of coffee, and embark on an early morning game drive before the main breakfast. This is an opportunity to spot the big cats of Taita Hills. Return to the lodge for the main breakfast at around 8:30 am, followed by a game drive as you check out of Taita Hills. Lunch will be provided on the way back to Mombasa. Arrival in Mombasa is expected in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location.
