Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Rift Valley Province - At 8:00 a.m., the operator will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The route includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, allowing for a 10-15 minute break to admire the stunning scenery.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lunch will be served at the camp in Maasai Mara. After checking in, embark on an evening game drive in the Mara Reserve from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Return to the camp for a buffet dinner, followed by a restful night at Enkajiang Camp, Rhino Tourist Camp, or a similar location. The tents are equipped with a toilet, shower, bed, linen, and mosquito nets. Electricity is available from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Maasai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most popular tourist destination, located in the Great Rift Valley’s open grasslands. Wildlife is most abundant on the reserve’s western escarpment, making it a prime area for wildlife viewing.

Full Day in Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast at around 7:00 a.m., set out for a full day of exploration in Maasai Mara, seeking the Big Five and witnessing the annual wildebeest migration, which involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and leaving in November. This extraordinary migration, unique to Maasai Mara, is considered the seventh wonder of the world. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, provided by the operator. Visit the site of the annual wildebeest migration and observe the resident crocodiles and hippos along the Mara River banks, then continue the game drive in the Mara Reserve.

Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi

Lake Nakuru National Park - After an early breakfast, check out and depart by 7:00 a.m. directly to the park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five. There is also a chance to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts for 3 hours, followed by a 3-hour drive back. Lunch will be at a traveler’s motel along the way.
