Full Day in Maasai Mara
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve. At approximately 7:00 am, after breakfast, embark on a full day of exploration in Masai Mara, seeking the Big Five and witnessing the annual wildebeest migration, which involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Visitors are almost guaranteed to spot the Big Five. The extraordinary wildebeest migration, a spectacular event unique to Maasai Mara, is considered the seventh wonder of the world. At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, provided by us. Visit the site of the annual wildebeest migration and observe the resident crocodiles and hippos along the banks of the Mara River. Continue the game drive to explore the beauty of the Mara Reserve until evening.
Maasai Mara to Nakuru
Nakuru - Enjoy breakfast at the camp, then check out by 8:00 am and drive to Nakuru. On this day, there is an optional visit to a Masai Village in Maasai Mara in the morning before departure. Lunch will be provided en route at a traveler’s motel. Upon arrival in Nakuru, check in at your hotel and relax. There will be no game drive on this day, allowing time to unwind, swim in the pool, or take a stroll around the hotel.
Nakuru to Naivasha
Lake Nakuru National Park - After an early breakfast, check out and depart by 7:00 am directly to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five. There is also a chance to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3-4 hours, followed by game viewing on the way out. The ecosystem includes the lake, surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity, including Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds, as well as the Black and White Rhinoceros, which are major attractions.
Lake Naivasha - After lunch, head to Lake Naivasha for a 1-hour boat ride. During the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, eagle feeding, and viewing pelicans and hippos. Once the boat ride concludes, return to the dock.
Naivasha to Amboseli
Hell’s Gate National Park - After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel by 7:00 am to proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park for a biking safari. Experience a guided tour while observing various animal species such as zebras, buffalos, giraffes, and antelopes. Enjoy a guided walk in the gorge, exploring the narrow land depressions and caves. Conclude the tours and return the bikes at the gate. Hell’s Gate National Park is a remarkable section of the Great Rift Valley, featuring spectacular scenery including towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub-clad volcanoes, and geothermal steam plumes, making it one of Africa’s most atmospheric parks. Hell’s Gate is a unique attraction due to its biodiversity, including raptors, and offers opportunities for biking and rock climbing.
Full Day in Amboseli
Amboseli National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a full day in the park with a packed lunch, searching for its renowned residents like the well-known predators and their counterparts such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, all with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery, with the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape and open plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Observation Hill, with several stops for bathroom breaks available during the game drives.
Amboseli to Nairobi
Amboseli Ecosystem - After an early morning breakfast, check out and enjoy a short game drive on the way out of the park, then depart back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of the safari. You will be dropped off at your hotel within Nairobi or at the airport.
