Maasai Mara
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Experience a full day of thrilling game drives. Explore the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most renowned and frequently visited reserve. Known for its abundant wildlife, the Maasai Mara hosts the Big Five and over 500 bird species. Crocodiles and hippos can be found along the rivers. The reserve features vast rolling plains and hills, dotted with umbrella thorn acacias and thorny thickets. In the Maa language, Mara means “spotted,” possibly referring to the vibrant landscapes or the arrival of over two million herbivores during the annual migration (wildebeest, gazelles, and zebras). Enjoy all meals and an overnight stay at the lodge/camp.
Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation, followed by an evening game drive to spot rhinos. The park is surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands, featuring a magnificent grey-green forest of euphorbia candelabrum, and provides sanctuary to some of the world’s most endangered species, including both white and black rhinos. Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary was established here due to the rhino’s endangered status. The park also features the shimmering waters of Lake Nakuru, teeming with pink flamingos. Encounter wildlife such as the rock hyrax, Colobus monkey, hippo, leopard, lion, black and white rhinos, waterbuck, striped hyena, golden cat, Rothschild giraffe, and Thomson’s and Grant gazelles. Spend the night at the Lodge/Camp, with all meals provided.
Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park - After an early breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park. Arrive in the late afternoon, enjoy lunch, and relax before embarking on an evening game drive. Amboseli is situated at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp/Lodge.
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park - Delight in a full day of game drives. Located along the Tanzanian border, the park’s name comes from the Maasai word “Empusel,” meaning salty, dusty place. Declared a national park in 1974 to protect its unique and delicate ecosystem, Amboseli National Park offers landscapes of striking contrasts: arid areas alongside lush swamp oases. The ecosystem of this low rainfall region relies on water from Mount Kilimanjaro (5895 meters). A notable feature of Amboseli is the opportunity to capture postcard-perfect photos of elephants with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. In addition to elephants, the park is home to numerous animals and 400 bird species that coexist with Maasai villages. Spend the night at the Lodge/Camp and enjoy delicious meals.
