NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Amboseli National Park - Guests will be picked up from the hotel or airport for a warm welcome and safari briefing. The journey to Amboseli will take you along the Nairobi-Mombasa road. Enjoy the scenic drive through the classic African savanna, dotted with local homesteads and vibrant Masai herdsmen tending to their cattle. Arrival at the camp will be in time to settle in before lunch, with a short break to relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Explore one of Kenya’s most renowned tourist parks, offering the chance to see wildlife against the stunning backdrop of Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Elephants reign supreme in the park, often found in the swamp areas, sharing the cool waters with hippos and taking shelter under the papyrus.

EXPLORE AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Amboseli National Park - An early start today with breakfast, followed by departure from the camp with picnic lunch boxes for a full day of adventure. The park hosts a significant population of Burchell’s zebras. Other herbivores include Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, buffalo, warthog, Maasai giraffe, impala, waterbuck, and dik-dik. Baboons and Vervet monkeys inhabit the sparse woodlands. Carnivores such as lions, spotted hyenas, wild cats, jackals, caracals, and cheetahs are also present. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted with over 400 bird species, including pelicans, flamingos, kingfishers, African fish eagles, ibises, secretary birds, crowned cranes, grey and Goliath herons, cattle egrets, black-winged stilts, little grebes, Egyptian geese, martial eagles, pygmy falcons, Maasai ostriches, white-backed vultures, lappet-faced vultures, yellow-necked spur fowls, kori bustards, and hornbills. After the rains, the park attracts large flocks of water birds.
