Into the Heart of Samburu

As the sun rose over Nairobi, I found myself eagerly anticipating the journey ahead. The allure of the Samburu National Reserve was irresistible, and I was ready to capture its untamed beauty through my lens. The drive through the Central Kenya Highlands was a visual feast, with landscapes that seemed to whisper ancient tales. Arriving at Ashnil Aruba, I was greeted by the warm smiles of the staff, a prelude to the hospitality that would define this adventure.

The evening game drive was my first taste of the wild, and it did not disappoint. The Samburu National Reserve, home to the legendary lioness Kamunyak, unfolded like a living canvas.
