- UK Electric Bike Centre - You can ride along quiet country lanes and visit many of Kent’s great attractions including Sissinghurst Castle, Balfour and Biddenden vineyards, beautiful gardens, churches, pretty market towns and some of Kent’s cycle trails.\n\nIt’s all self-guided, so you can also get advice on where to go, where to eat and provide maps. We have even sorted out a number of local pubs where you can recharge your batteries. In addition we are now linked to Visit Kent and can recommend with B&Bs, hotels and campsites.\n\nBased at Bloomsbury Biddenden in the heart of Kent, our location is ideal for getting anywhere. Our electric bikes are comfortable and reliability and a large battery range. If you have never used an electric bike before, you use it exactly the same way as a pedal bike. The difference is that when you pedal, the motor kicks in to assist you, great for any hills. Alternatively you can switch the motor off and ride it like a conventional bike.

Explore Kent in a distinct way on an electric bike. Whether you’re alone, in a pair or a small group, we offer various well-marked trails which cover Ken’s spectacular attractions that comprise historical castles, vineyards, breweries, renowned gardens, quaint villages and much more. A favored journey involves a ride around the Kentish Weald, with stops at local vineyards for a tour, and wine-tasting sessions of award-winning wines.
The electric bikes provided are both cozy and dependable. If you’re new to electric bikes, you’ll find them as straightforward to use as traditional bikes. The exceptional feature is that when you pedal, the motor starts to provide assistance. An excellent option for groups with members who usually cycle at varying speeds. With the electric bikes, everyone can maintain an equal speed by regulating the power generated by the bike.
Bike rentals are available for a half-day (10am-1pm or 2-5pm) or for the entire day from 10 am to 5 pm. Please contact us for rental rates.
- Minimum age is 14 years old to ride an electric bike but we have mountain bikes, tag-a-longs, child seats and buggies for younger children

We are based at Headcorn Airfield. Parking is available or we do pick up from Headcorn Station. There is a cafe, pub and toilets on site.

Great day out - I would thoroughly recommend using The Electric Bike Centre if you want a ride out in beautiful countryside. The route for the vineyards was excellent with quiet roads and lovely scenery. The bikes are easy to ride and well maintained, Marcus who owns the company is both pleasant and knowledgable and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. A very pleasant day out

We loved the electric bikes!! - Marcus was so helpful and kind. We took a train to Headcorn from London and he offered to pick us up from the station which was so wonderful and unexpected. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and was able to easily find Sissinghurst Gardens and a wonderful pub for lunch. Marcus supplied us with detailed maps and various routes to explore. Heartedly recommend!!

Great way to experience electric bikes and the countryside - Great way to see the Kent countryside and had so much fun on the electric bikes. The route was really considered and well planned with great places to stop at. Really friendly and helpful staff, had a great day and would definitely recommend for tourists or even locals like us!

Fantastic day in the Kent countryside - Fantastic way to spend the day! We thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Marcus thought of every detail - his map was thorough and the route was perfect. We enjoyed the vineyard and our stop at the (very) old pub too. We’ll definitely do this again!

Beautiful way to see the countryside! - Our original plans were rained out but Marcus helped save the day! His flexibility and kindness meant everything. We were able to get a shorter bike ride in and enjoyed seeing the countryside. It’s just gorgeous. This is a must-do if you want to get out of London and enjoy some activity and the outdoors.

Excellent experience and highly recommend! - Excellent experience and highly recommend! We organised a stag party day activity consisting of touring a few local Vineyards in the Biddenden area on the bikes. Marcus and Warren went above and beyond to help us with recommendations and got us quickly underway with a friendly and clear safety briefing.
Those of us who had not visited the area before found the bikes really comfortable and fun and made our experience more memorable.

E- biking seniors - Cycled using photo guide provided by the operator. Went to Balfour Winery for platter lunch and wine. It was lovely. The lanes and narrow roads were quiet and safe.
