I'll take this as my 'Groundhog Day' please - Me, my mum and 8 of my friends booked a private tour with Wine Tours of Kent earlier this year and yesterday (Sat 16th Aug) we had the pleasure of enjoying it. Our wonderful guide Chloe met us at Headcorn Station, gave us some excellent insight and history of the vineyards we had booked to visit: Westwell, Wildshark and Oast Wood. Plus general knowledge and history of English wines. I will review the three vineyards separately. Our group always have so much fun when we meet up and this tour was certainly everything we wanted and more; quality time with each vineyard, with their own knowledgable staff, some excellent wine and food, plus time with each other. Most of us completed all three vineyards, a few of our group had to leave early due to time constraints, but Chloe and the team had planned that divide very well weeks before, meaning everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We're quite a straight talking bunch, so some little pieces of feedback for some of the vineyards were offered up and I know the company will pass those on, nothing impacted on our overall enjoyment though and I think we would easily book this trip or others like it again. I will highly recommend Wine Tours of Kent to others too.

Weekend tailored by experts - The most wonderful and well-planned weekend. We got driven to 6 beautiful English vineyards of different sizes and character, and to and from our accommodation. Our expert guide was passionate and deeply knowledgable about English wines. Really thoughtful and tailored experience, even took lovely pictures of us. Learnt lots and discovered so many delicious wines we’d never heard of. Thank you Chloe!

Day out with friends - Great day out, We were collected promptly by James, who drove us to the Wild shark Vineyard, It was a great tour Martin showed us around and we drank as we walked, finished trip with a sharing charcuterie board. James the drove us to the Balfour Winery, the road was closed but thanks to James's local knowledge, he knew all the country lanes we soon arrived at the Winery. James was extremely knowledgeable about Balfour, there history, vines , land and about the wines. A great day out.

Excellent tour - Would highly recommend them for arranging a tour of local vineyards. We were a group of 8 friends and from our first enquiry Chloe was so helpful, suggesting different options of which vineyards to visit. Our driver, James was so knowledgable, friendly, helpful and attentive. We will be back again for another tour

5 Star service ! - This was our first UK wine tour, having been on others in France previously. We were not sure what to expect, as we had assumed the UK wouldn't be as slick as the French tours, as they have been going for longer. But we were extremely pleased to see how amazing the Wine Tours of Kent offering is. From the first email to enquire, to the telephone calls to work out exactly what we wanted...dealing with the team was so easy and professional and we had such a great time. All the vineyards matched our requests (all 8 in 3 days!) and we discovered some real gems of wines we wouldn't have found on our own. The hotel and transport recommendations were also perfect and the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and went out of their way to make our trip as special as possible. Would I recommend Wine Tours of Kent... absolutely! A 5-star offering that we intend to use again...and again

Vineyards of The Weald - Visits to two totally different vineyards in the beautiful Weald of Kent curtesy of Wine Tours of Kent. We were picked up outside Tenterden Town Hall with 6 others and whisked off to Woodchurch Vineyard. Grahame, the owner, took us on a tour of the vineyard and the fabulous hospitality area. Grahame was honest on his reasons for moving from being Librarian to owning a vineyard and shared the vision they have at Woodchurch. Hearing about the swings in yields helped us understand how dependent on weather UK wine growers are. After a fantastic lunch, with plenty of wine tasting thrown in, we were off to Oast Wood vineyard a few miles up the road. Here Steve, the owner, explained that as farmers they had chosen to diversify in growing grapes during the COVID lockdown. In Oast Wood’s case, nature had been kind with an almost perfect field for vines, the right soil, sloping down toward water, south western slope. All of which made for some beautiful wines as we took in the beauty of surroundings whilst sipping whites, rose and a Kentish red. All too soon the day came to an end and we were taken back to our starting point in Tenterden having made new friends and had an amazing day. Thanks to Kent Wine Tours, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Do it just to meet these ladies. - This was to celebrate me getting married and these guys were fabulous. We were picked up by two lovely ladies Penny and Sarah. They we knowledgable and so helpful with every from information and helping set up for my surprise. This was above and beyond what they needed to do. They kept us on time but at no point did we feel rushed, they were just so accommodating. Honestly the best tour I have ever done.

Great day out! - Couldn’t have had a better day! Chloe was a fabulous guide, driving us between locations, and answering all our questions with her extensive knowledge of English wines. We visited two very different vineyards, enjoying the tasting menus and a delicious lunch. Thanks so much - there’s nothing we would have changed!
