Participants will have the opportunity to explore a 19th-century shipbuilder’s residence, enjoy stunning ocean views, visit a beautiful seaside chapel, admire the expansive estate of two American presidents, and see a traditional Maine lighthouse, among many other attractions.
The route itself is a highlight, being one of the most renowned coastal roads in Southern Maine. All guides are local experts with extensive knowledge of the area’s history and culture, and they possess a talent for storytelling. They are enthusiastic about sharing insights about the region and are eager to answer any questions during the tour.
The bicycles provide an eco-friendly and enjoyable experience, maintained to the highest standards by skilled mechanics. Participants can choose between an 8-speed cruiser bike with comfortable handlebars or a more athletic hybrid. Smaller bikes are also available for younger riders.
