Bashana Companies & Imigongo Art Center - On the way to Akagera national park, you will stop by this coffee shop and have breakfast. it’s 1h30mins drive from Kigali city and It’s an amazing place where you can also order packed lunch.
This place has also fascinating arts from different artists. - Akagera National Park - Akagera National Park lies in eastern Rwanda, hugging the border with Tanzania. It’s characterized by woodland, swamps, low mountains and savannah. The varied terrain shelters wildlife including zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions and hundreds of bird species, such as the rare shoebill stork. In the southern part of the park, vast Lake Ihema is home to hippos and crocodiles. it’s 1h drive from the 1st attraction . and spend 6 hours with the national park doing the game drive . and will require another 2h 30 min to come back in Kigali .

A full day tour full of wild life. - A full day tour full of wild life. Got to see colorful birds, giraffes, zebras, elephant, buffaloes, hippos, and many others. Dady was an excellent driver and tour guide, very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Kigali. P

A great experience. - Leaving 5:00 from the hotel in Rwanda we went to Akagera Park. We spent the whole day in the park having a good lunch, spotting many animals and seeing much of Rwanda. The Driven and Guide Samual was a great driven with many exciting stories and insights into Rwanda. After some minor delays, we returned back in Kigali around 21:00.

Stunning Tour of Akagera National Park - Our day safari to Akagera National Park with KAT was great! Booking went smoothly and Celine was very helpful when we needed to make last minute changes due to flight delays. Our driver Emile was very friendly and knowledgeable. He said that he couldn't identify all 500 species of animal in the park, but he easily identified everything we saw. And we saw so much! Everything from hippos, rhinos and elephants to eagles, flycatchers and crocodiles. It was an unforgettable experience!

A lovely day out! - We were picked up on time and looked after the whole way through!
Our driver, Justin, was extremely friendly and we got to know him on the drive to the park.
We saw SO MANY animals! : Lions, Rhinos, Giraffes, birds, crocodiles, hippos and so much more!
Snacks provided with a couple of rest breaks to the park, within the park and coming home!
